FLINT is the flexible bidirectional interface, optimized to ensure a secure data exchange between Oracle Primavera P6 and any database application. FLINT transfers activities, resources, relationships, roles, steps, notebooks, code fields, workorders, progress and all other relevant data between both applications. The software cleverly (re)uses existing knowledge. FLINT is web-based and allows unlimited volumes of data. The built-in function cooker and procedures eases the mapping of Primavera P6 data with any other database application and ERP system.

By using FLINT you will get a traceable link between Primavera P6 data and for example ERP related data. Project portfolio data will be manageable. WHAT TO DO IN FLINT

In the settings you can modify the global setting.

Now that you have defined all the identifiers (Activity ID, Resource ID, etc) it’s time to tell FLINT which properties of those identifiers it should integrate.

And finally you run the procedure you defined in the previous steps to finish the data integration!

In the definition tab, you can define the most important fields of P6, like the Activity ID, Resource ID, etc..

On the filter tab you can make sure that you only get the data you need.

In both IFS as P6 you select tables which contain the data you wish to integrate, and tell FLINT how these tables are related to each other.

Select the P6 database and select the project you wish to populate.

Specify which users will be allowed to login to FLINT and run this procedure.

Create a master procedure, to group all data transfer procedures that belong together.
