I wanted to achieve a space that will make aclient willingly spend their money when theyare in it. A space they would see the value oftheir money.

The project has majorly 3 main spaces.The welcoming space which at the reception,the meeting room (Presentation room) andthe Architects work space.

Reception is meant to be a welcomingspace so I gave it more floor to ceiling heightcompared to other subsequent spaces.Wanted the architect’s space to be higher ofthe ground to give hierarchy and forsupervision.The Reception has display walls with plasterframes framing pictures of artistic impressionof buildings done by the firm to keep theperson in waiting area Busy and help himgauge the works the Architect has done.

Meeting space is a transition space between thereceptions/welcoming space and the architectsworkspace, it has views into both spaces and apresentation wall. The is an exhibition space wherethe architect presents to the client or hold ameeting. for its interior i chose to depict exhibitionby using a display wall with plaster frames thatframe the projects the architect has done andadjacent to it is a shelf for physical models done.the shelve filter views into the architect’s office.The meeting room is raised by 150mm taking thereception floor as the zero level, and it is lit fromunder to emphasize the Step making a strip of lightbelow the floor.

Architects' office was given hierarchy by havingthe highest floor level to give it the view into all thesubsequent spaces for monitoring with filteredviews. The Architect is able to look at the receptionactivity when in his work space.

The project concept being the "Dominance"depicted using the dominance of a straight line toa curve.Ceiling was made by a curve to make a wave insection and the furniture design was dominated bycurves. The wall and floor design was dominatedby lines. Which shows fight for supremacy which astraight line wins.

Color scheme was coffe brown and white toachieve the dorminace scenario and warmscenario.

Materials to enhance my concept of the project, Iwanted the materials that will have a color of earthwhich is brown and combined it with white tocome up with a warm touch to the space. Thisdepicts the behavior of a person being calm whenfeeling inferior or a subject to the dominant.

The spaces have filtered views into other spaceswhich were achieved by Book shelves and Modelshelves, it makes the spaces connected.
