! What is happening in the universities in the production multimedia area? ! They are producing more and more content ! They are installing audiovisual equipment of
those types: ! Unattended rooms (LCS: Lecture Capture
Systems) ! Recording Studios: classes, and content
created to be recorded ! Videoconference rooms: meeting rooms,
other types

! Content is abstractly represented as digital objects that are formed by: ! Video and other type of content like doc, ppt,
etc (url) ! Metadata: describe the content (set of pairs
tag, value) ! The metadata is basic to place a value on the
content ! Also is needed to have a CMS oriented to
multimedia content to automate all process. ! ARCA is at the end of chain.
