  • Sts. Mary & Joseph Collaborative’s Pastoral Plan Writing

Committee spent over one year developing a multi-step Pastoral

Plan to guide us in the realization of our vision for our

Collaborative. Our first step was to develop our “Vision

Statement,” through discussion and discernment of what we

imagine our collaborative could be or should be to our

    communities.

    VISION STATEMENT:

We are a growing, joyful, prayerful, Eucharist-centered, vibrant

Catholic Community of believers who welcome all people in the

name of Jesus Christ. We engage in this faith journey together

through sacraments, life-long faith formation, charitable works

and stewardship, in order to be witnesses of God’s love in our

    daily lives.

  • Once our Vision Statement was finalized, our Plan Writing

Committee was challenged to develop a plan to lead us to its

realization. We broke into sub-groups, each group developing a

detailed plan for one of the five focus areas.

    Focus Areas

VOCATIONS: We aim to increase discernment opportunities for

young men in their teens and twenties.

SUNDAY EXPERIENCE: We intend to increase Mass

attendance through the development of an Ambassador program

and special liturgy promotions throughout the year.

CHARITABLE WORKS: We will work to streamline current

charitable work ministries, building on each parish’s strengths

to better serve those in need.

LIFE-LONG FAITH FORMATION: We will use the Dynamic

Parish Initiative to build more opportunities for all parishioners

    to deepen their faith understanding.

FAMILY LIFE: We will implement two initiatives designed to

engage married couples and young families.

Please read on for detailed plans regarding each focus area…

  • While the effects of COVID-19 may force us to delay the

implementation of some of the planned action steps, we are

excited and look forward to a bright future for Sts. Mary &

Joseph Collaborative - evangelizing our communities, increasing

our focus on the sacraments, offering various opportunities for

faith enrichment, and engaging our parishioners to have a more

vibrant and committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
