Architect’s Association of PEI Scholarship

This Scholarship Fund was established by the Architects Association of PEI in 2004 to help

Island students pursue degreed studies (bachelor, masters, doctoral) leading to a

career in the field of architecture.

Required Documents o Personal Statement

Please provide a personal statement (a maximum of 500 words) telling the AAPEI committee why you wish to become an architect.

o Reference letters (2) Below are suggested topics for referees to consider when preparing letters of reference for the applicant. In no way are they intended to limit the points that referees may wish to address.

o Note your relationship with and knowledge of the student o Comment on the student’s character o Share information about the student’s potential in her/his chosen field of study o Provide examples of the student’s achievements

o Confirmation of Acceptance

o Portfolio of work (OPTIONAL)
