Design Development Project Update

1 Architect gave an update on project progress

2 Major areas receiving revisions andor development were reviewed

21 Box Office and related spaces modified to provide an open usage from the lobby

interior Development of lobby and main feature wall See attached perspective

images

22 Changing rooms and custodial storage reconfigured Change eliminated a

conflict with mechanical and structural

23 Mechanical room below control booth changed to storage AV racks moved to a

dedicated space in above the control booth

24 Storage room added in place of the conference room Infrastructure to be

provided to aid a future conversion

25 Performance areas

251 See attached perspective images showing further development of the

performance areas

252 First 2 seating rows now at same grade and designated to be removeable

Provides for the following direction given during the 12132018

meeting

First Row 8rsquo-10rsquo from stage This is for performers to lsquosurroundrsquo

audience or have a small orchestra on floor (2-4 people) First row or

2 of chairs to be removeable to accommodate above without big

empty space in front of audience at all times

253 Platform (stage) size increased following an analysis of performer

circulation and ensemble requirements See attached platform ensemble

layout concepts showing the following configurations

bull 80-piece orchestra

bull 60-piece orchestra wpiano and 26 choir

bull 20-piece orchestra wpiano and 120 choir

254 Seat count 504 fixed seats w 6 wheelchair spaced (510 total)

255 All high house lighting to be accessed for maintenance from the catwalks

except for the row that will be hoist mounted

3 Following the update general approval was voiced by the committee for the project

changes and progress No requests for changes were made
