BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/GOALS:The Architectural, Engineering and CAD Technologies program is designed to prepare students for immediate employment in a wide range of careers. Ours students are being hired as CAD Operators, BIM Technicians, Surveying Technicians, Contract Administrators, Project Coordinators, Building Inspectors, and other Architecture, Engineering and Construction related fields. Other students use the program as a step on the way to a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, and even business administration / management (West Oahu).

DEGREES THAT CAN BE EARNED:Associates of Science with a focus in Architectural TechnologiesAssociates of Science with a focus in Construction ManagementCertificate of Achievement with a focus in Architectural TechnologiesCertificate of Achievement with a focus in Construction Management

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:• The emphasis of this program is on state of the art technologies that are used in building construction documentation. These include 2D and 3D drawing with AutoCAD, 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) Autodesk Revit, visualization tools like 3DS Max and Autodesk Fusion, Lumion rendering soft ware, Trimble Sketchup 3D modeling software, ProCore Project management software, ProEst estimating software, Microsoft Project Scheduling software. Specialized equipment such as total station surveying equipment, 3D LIDAR Scanners, additive manufacturing technologies such as 3D scanning and 3D printing, and virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.• We also offer continuing education CAD training in Revit and AutoCAD through a partnership with the Pacific Center of Advanced Technology Training (PCATT) so our students can always keep their skills up to date - even after graduation!

ITEMIZED ESTIMATE OF EDUCATIONAL COSTS:• Tuition based on total credits taken.• Books/supplies approximately $1000.
