Architecture Experience Epic Engineering is a multi-discipline firm that can handle all aspects of design – architecture as well as civil, structural, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) – for a variety of buildings in any sector. Whether it’s an apartment complex, a luxury home, a city office building, or a busi- ness, our team of professionals has years of experience in designing buildings that are efficient, attractive and functional. These projects are a sampling of our work. Multi-Residential Best Western Hotel This 4-story, 82-room hotel in Heber City, UT features steel beams at the entry supporting the third and fourth floors to allow for a 2-story open entrance/lobby. Our structural team also incorporat- ed shearwalls consisting of drywall vs. OSB sheathing to save the owner substantial costs. We designed the building with 2-hour fire-rated exterior wood walls and steel moment frames. Artesia Concept Hotel/Convention Center We designed this concept hotel/apartment/conference center for a developer working to revitalize the downtown area of Artesia, CA. It consists of 200 hotel rooms and 50 apartments with restau- rants, stores, a fitness club, and outdoor recreation area. It also includes a large parking garage for residents and visitors. Who is Epic? Epic Engineering, P.C., was founded in 1997 to provide civil engineering ser- vices to municipalities. Over the last 20 years we have expanded our offering to become a full-service architecture and engineering firm with more than 60 employees at multiple offices through- out the West. Lago de Plata Apartment Rehabilitation Epic provided architecture and MEP design for the rehabilitation of this 14-building, 150- unit apartment complex in Corsicana, Texas. 205 Main Street Condos This 4-story townhome complex in Park City, UT features a low- er-level parking garage with a Spandeck floor on the main level, all in a confined excavation space with nearby buildings on three sides. Our structural engineering team designed the building with 2-hour fire-rated wood frame walls with intermediate steel mo- ment frames and a 30-foot-tall concrete retaining wall at the rear of the building. Millcreek Cove Apartments Our structural and MEP teams designed three stories of wood framing over one story of parking below finish grade for this apartment building. We used precast double tee panels to support the wood frame structure. Our electrical team provided design work for the building’s rooftop solar panels. Lofts at Jackson Hole Epic Engineering’s Civil Engineering and Architectural Design team partnered to design the beautiful Lofts at Jackson Hole. This artistic design included a three-story resort hotel and em- ployee housing units, all designed with respect to Jackson Hole’s unique style and ambiance.

L u x u r y H o m e sD u tc h F i e l d s H o m eEpic’s team designed this beautiful single-family home in the Dutch Fields subdivision in Midway, Utah. With 5,900 liveable square feet, this home exudes classic charm with its nice, big wrap-around porch, red brick chimney, and its dormer windows. It also features an indoor soccer field under the garage.

C i v i cM a g n a Wat e r D i s t r i c t A d m i n B u i l d i n gEpic Engineering designed, bid and oversaw the construction of the magnificent 3,000-square-foot administration building in Magna, Utah. This building was designed to be fully ADA compli-ant and includes multiple offices, break rooms, a state-of-the-art conference room, and restrooms. Our team provided all services in-house, including energy-efficient design, MEP design packages, solar panel arrays, radiant heat, and a beautiful nature garden with water-conscious landscaping and a nature path.

M y to n C i t y H a l l & L i b r a r yEpic designed the new city offices and library building in Myton, UT. The 5,790 square-foot building featured office space, plus versatile rooms for public meetings, as well as an 1,100 square-foot library wing. Epic provided civ-il, structural, and mechanical design for the project.

A r c h i t e c t u r e E x p e r i e n c e

R e d L e d g e s H o m eEpic’s team designed this elegant home for the high-end Red Ledges community in Heber Valley, UT. This 3,800-sf single-lev-el home features three luxurious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a man cave, and lots of windows to provide natural light and showcase the amazing view of Mount Timpanogos to the West. We also provided a landscape plan for the property.

D a n l e y G a r a g eEpic designed an attractive, separate, luxury 3-car garage for an existing home in Heber Valley. The 1,000-plus-sf garage is a 2-sto-ry design with room for cars on the bottom floor and an office, kitchen, man cave, gym, and laundry facilities on the top floor. The top floor also leads to a beautiful deck where the homeowners can take in the great views of the surrounding mountains. The exterior of the garage features attractive decorative tim-ber trusses, cedar shake shingles, and stone wainscoting.

C o m m e r c i a lK a r l M a l o n e D e a l e r s h i pEpic’s architecture team designed the new Karl Malone car deal-ership in Heber City, Utah along with our structural engineers. Our civil engineering team designed the site layout, did the storm water calculations and other prep work for the new facility that replaces an old, smaller building on the same lot. Our MEP team designed the plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. The building is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in Fall, 2019.

M a n d a n P u b l i c Wo r k s B u i l d i n gWe provided design work for the remodel and addition to the admin building (seen above), plus two other buildings on the grounds of the Public Works facility in Mandan, ND. We complet-ed designs for the architectural, civil engineering, structural en-gineering, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing portions of the project.

U ta h Va l l e y S e l f S to r a g eEpic Engineering designed a new addition to an existing storage facility for Utah Valley Self Storage. We performed survey, geotech, civil engineering, electrical design, structural de-sign, and architectural design for the project.The addition provides more than 45,000 square feet of storage space in 127 self-stor-age units on a 2.134-acre plot.

L a b r u m Fo r d S h o w r o o m a n d S e r v i c e A r e aEpic provided all the architectural design, structural design, and MEP design for a new showroom building and service department extension for Labrum Ford in Heber City. The service department extension included five service bays and a parts storage room added to an existing building.
