that are headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo. They have their origins as a building design company founded in 1900 as part of Japan’s Sumitomo conglomerate, they are now a private corporation that is party owned by its employees. They have a huge body of work, having completed 20,000 projects in some 40 different countries.

• P&T Group have its origins in 1868 with the arrival in Hong Kong of William Salway from England. Salway opened an office in the city as local merchants longed for larger buildings to reflect their status. They have grown immeasurably since then now work all over the world, building skyscrapers and small houses with the same care and attention.
