CityRich people = escaped from city

Lots of noise

Compact

The poor people stayed in the city.

They didn’t have enough money to build their own houses.

Materials …

Before: - white blocks in plaster - houses built in a very short time

Now: - bricks - it takes a long time to build a house

In the 60’s

Practical reason

They didn’t spend a lot of time in it

They ate in the dining room NOT in the kitchen

Important objects:- dishwasher - cooker- cooker hood

Now

Central place of the house

We eat in the kitchen OR dining room
