favorite book this year The 5 levels Of

Leadership by John Maxwell.

1. Good leadership isnt about advancing

yourself. Its about advancing yourteam.

2. Leaders become great, not becauseof their power, but because of their

ability to empower others.

3. Leadership is action, not position.

4. When people feel liked, cared for,included, valued, and trusted,

they begin to work together with

their leader and each other.

5. If you have integrity with people, youdevelop trust. The more trust you

develop, the stronger the relationshipbecomes. In times of difculty,

relationships are a shelter. In times ofopportunity, they are a launching pad.

6. Good leaders must embrace both careand candor.

7. People buy into the leader, then the

vision.

8. Bringing out the best in a person isoften a catalyst for bringing out the

best in the team.

9. Progress comes only from taking risks

and making mistakes.

10. Leaders are measured by the caliberof leaders they develop, not the caliber

of their own leadership.

I hope those quotes impact you as much as

they impacted me.

Here is something I learned over 17 years

ago as I started my professional journey in

network marketing. A lot of people in Network

Marketing drift through the days, letting the

business happen to them. They answer callsand emails, go to events and watch activities

in their back ofce. Some months they see

results and other times they dont. They are

tourists and you dont want to be a tourist.

Success in our business doesnt happen. It

is created.

Dont wait for a different economy, a new

product, or a call from your mentor. Drive your

business. Take charge. Have a plan. Get into
