FPC members are:

AREA Forms and Practice Committee (FPC) – Change Process Map The Forms and Practice Committee is an operational Committee engaged by AREA staff to guide and provide input/feedback on practice issues and themes in relation to the management of AREA Form content. They do so by:
Engaging in practice discussions and how practice issues and themes impact AREA Forms
Discussing relevant legislative shifts, changes from the regulator and organized real estate, case law outcomes and legal community opinions
Discussing province-wide standards of practice for the conduct of the business of real estate
AREA Forms: The Forms & Practice Committee (FPC) Change Process Map
AREA staff conducts research
and prepares briefing documents
to FPC
Topics are brought forward to the FPC via
AREA staff (Topics require 3 R’s:
rationale, research, and a recommendation)
Motion and Agreement by the Committee to take
a specific action. (form change, new
form, education etc)
When Topics/Changes do NOT proceed the FPC
provides direction, i.e.member education,
additional research or to remove the topic from
discussion.
