Business Challenge

• Objectives of project was to have

• “One company” supply chain processes built on leading practices

• Reduced risk of supply chain disruption

• Engaged and empowered employees

• Out of the box solution (no customization)

• As part of the project, supply chain processes were to be consolidated so that there is a streamlined process that gets followed across the company

Infosys Solution

• Infosys is executing an end to end supply chain transformation from workshops to implementation

• Infosys is in the process of defining supply chain business process standardization for vertically integrated utility

• Mix of Ariba, Maximo and Oracle is being used to deliver the solution

• Ariba will be used for sourcing; contract management will be done through Ariba contracts which will be integrated with Ariba procurement content and Maximo. Supplier Management will be delivered through Ariba SIPM Solution and Ariba spend visibility will be used for spend management alongside Maximo reporting. Ariba document automation and supplier network

will be used to enable suppliers to use electronic ordering and invoicing features

• Solution is targeted to rollout Ariba sourcing application to United States users only
