My thesis project will consist of a series of promotional videos for an animal rescue group called SNARR (Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation). SNARR is known to save the dogs which are toughest to place. While SNARR mainly pulls special needs dogs, they a lso save perfectly healthy dogs too. SNARR was originally founded in Louisiana by Robin Menard in 2011. As Robin has said, “I am a small rescue, and do my best to make each dog feel as though they are my pet. I do not believe in pulling a dog from a shelter only to put it in another shelter environment." With hard work and dedication, Robin has been able to build a state-of-the-art kennel and play yard for the dogs.

In the same year, SNARR has been able to open a second chapter in the Northeast. Through Facebook, Robin met Courtney Bellew. The two ladies had an instant connection when they were trying to save the same dog. After the dog was saved, it was decided that Courtney would start and head their Northeast chapter. Their Northeast chapter is located in White Plains, New York. I have met with Courtney and plan to focus mainly on the Northeast chapter of SNARR. Courtney has been a wealth of informa-tion and I will continue to work closely with her to produce my thesis.

In addition to the promotional videos, I hope to redesign their logo and website to achieve a polished and branded appearance. This will come across as more professional and hopefully will attract more donors.
