ARS 41-1750

DPS is responsible for the effective operation of the central state repository in order to collect, store and disseminate complete and accurate Arizona criminal history records and related criminal justice information.

ARS 41-1750

DPS should establish and enforce the necessary physical and system safeguards to ensure that the criminal justice information maintained and disseminated through the ACJIS is appropriately protected from unauthorized inquiry, modification, destruction or dissemination as required by this section.

SYSTEM ACCESS

The agency must be a court or a governmental agency, or any subunit thereof.

The agency must perform as its principal function, the administration of criminal justice.

The agency must allocate more than 50% of its annual budget to the administration of criminal justice.

ACJIS

Computerized network available to Arizona Law Enforcement and other criminal justice agencies.

System is available 7 days a week, 24-hours a day
