ARKITEMA COLLEGE
As an intern at Arkitema Architects, you will become part of Arkitema College, – a programme for architect and constructing architect interns at our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen. Arkitema College will present new approaches to working in architecture, and will enhance your knowledge about the architectural practice.
During your internship at Arkitema Architects you will become acquainted with a broad range of skills necessary in architectural practice. We specialize in five segments – Housing, Learning, Commercial, Health and Urban Design. You will become an active member of our design teams getting hands-on experience both in-house in our offices, as well as participate in meetings with clients and external part-ners. At Arkitema you will have the opportunity to mold your internship and placement based on your academic interests.
Once a week, you and the other interns in Arkitema College meet to discuss a number of relevant topics from the pre-liminary conceptual work to finalised and built architecture. Our most experienced project managers and creative man-agers have responsibility for the college, that cover both the creative and practical aspects of architectural practice. Regardless of academic background, you will participate in all aspects.
