Armavir is one of the major cities of the Kuban region with a diversified economy. Today, our city can rightly be regarded as the centre of railway engineering. On the territory of the city produces a wide range of products from automation systems and traffic signal equipment to freight cars and tank cars. The chemical industry producing rubber and plastic products used in various sectors of the economy. Significant role in the economy of Armavir is the production of vegetable oils and confectionery products. And in the production of freight cars and electric motors of low power our enterprises are only in the South of Russia. In terms of economic growth Armavir takes the 10th place among municipal formations of the region. It is not surprising that the products of the Armavir companies are well-known not only in Russia but also abroad.

24.9 billion rubles – the volume of industrial production, 5,4% – the share of shipped products of industrial enterprises of municipal formation town of Armavir in the region's economy, including: 34.3% of the production of vehicles and equipment; 18,9% - manufacture of electrical equipment; 15.4% of the production of paper, cardboard and products from them;8,5% - production of machines and equipment;4,2% - production of rubber and plastic products.In the industry operate:930 enterprises and individual entrepreneurs, 16,2 thousand people.Results:The volume of industrial production over the period since 2009 has increased 3.8 times. Armavir is the only manufacturer in the region: - freight wagons, mainline - low power electric motors, - columns gas hot water, - cable and wire products used for communication equipment signal, - equipment for security and traffic control on the Railways.

Within the city operate:- 3 meat processors, - 3 oil processing enterprises, - 3 confectioneries and more than 50 pastry shops, - tobacco factory, and dairy plant, - bakery, - Elevator -a flour mill, state farm ornamental crops,- agricultural production cooperative, more than 40 farms and 4790 private households.
