Physical Characteristics:• Age: 12 to 18 yrs • Build: “The Growing

Years”: range from small & lacking strength to fully grown adult

• Gender: Boys and Girls: 1/3 cadets are female

• Ethnicity: Wide range reflects local population

• Supermarket collections during the week

• Poppy Saturday in Glasgow

• Used this to gain my APC 1&2 star and DofE Bronze

• Ran a project within my School around The poppy Appeal with Sgt Arran Brown

• Collected now for 4 years with the ACF

• Use the Poppy collections for my cadet in the community and APC 1 & 2 star

• Look forward to collecting every year

• Use the collecting for my Duke of Edinburgh bronze award

• P&Ds detachment always Man the garden of remembrance on George Square on Poppy Saturday

Been col lect ing now for 37 years

Took over as Poppy Scot land Coordinator for the ACF in 2005

Started col lect ing as a 10 year old cadet 1978

Lay the Poppy Wreath at George square on behalf of the ACF

2005 raised £10,200 collecting on Poppy Saturday2015Over 400 cadets collecting in Glasgow and LanarkshireRaised over £22,000 in Glasgow alone all lanarksire cash is

counted by legions and various poppy volunteersCovered 12 super stores with over 150 cadets mid week
