PANHANDLE 4-H COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

4-H CONGRESS

REGIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITY

4-H members in the North Region are collecting aluminum cans. Money raised will go to

support communities in the North Region. Many of our communities lack the dollars to

fund projects such as website and brochure development, innovative heritage and educa-

tional programs, museum exhibits and building repairs, new event planning, city beautifi-

cation projects, and other special needs.

This year’s District Clothing and Textile Community Service Project will be to collect hygiene products for donation. Products such as soap, shampoo,

conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. Items will be turned in the morning of the District Fashion Show. Items will be donated to either homeless shelter, women’s crisis center, or other places in need.

HORSE VALIDATION

Horse Validation will take place all online this year. It is open on 4-H Connect

from April 1st to May 1st. If you have any questions, please contact Whitney.
