1) START CROOK O’LUNE CAR PARK Leave car park past picnic tables. Turn R and follow upper path, then turn L to cross old railway bridge, now used for pedestrians and cyclists. Just after the bridge, take the slope on R down towards the river and follow the path along the river and back underneath the bridge. On the other side of the bridge the path opens out into fields. Keeping the river on your L, follow the path through these fields. Please note that livestock is free roaming in these fields so please keep dogs on a lead.

2) WATERWORKS BRIDGE 2.2 KM / 1.4 MILES Having walked for approx. 1 mile, you will pass a weir on your L, then shortly afterwards you will reach the Waterworks Bridge. Cross this bridge and double back towards Crook O’Lune car park, keeping the river on your L, for approx. 1.3 miles. Climb steps on your R to reach the car park. LOOK OUT FOR: The Three Bridges – the Crook O’Lune road bridge; the former railway bridge now used by pedestrians and cyclists; and the Waterworks Bridge at the farthest point of this route.
