Lesson Plan for:3rd cycle of Primary(11/12 years old kids)
Teaching context: We want to teach the language with all of the aspects that it brings (its culture, its literature…)
Target readers
Teaching Objectives
• To Know the novel• To know different means of transport.• To learn vocabulary involved in travels.• To know the world• To know other cultures• To learn how important the respect
towards other cultures is and to value them.
Type of literary text
• Is an imaginary text that is written in prose
• Moreover, this version is a comic, so this will be easier to the students than prose.
Methodology
• Approach: This lesson plan wants to be focused in the culturally and diversity.
• Sessions: This lesson plan will take us six or seven sessions aproximately, 50 minutes per session.
• Materials: We are going to use a computer with internet conexion to listen to the story in it. We also give the students some activities like the “cultural scattergories”.

Activity one:Students have to match the clothes in the photos, with its name, with the countrywhere is typical.

• Third session
During the third session, we are talking about the author of the novel, Jules Verne. We want students to know something about him.
Pupils will have to write a short story of a journey to a never-visited-before place.
• Fourth session
Students will have to do a comic based on the Jules Verne’s novel.
The comic that students will do, must be based on current times.
Groups of 6 or 7, and three sessions to complete it
Evaluation
• Two main aspects: the results that students reached and also the result of the activity in general so as to see which elements can be improved, which worked out, if there is something that can be added…
• In the evaluation of the activity we will consider the interest shown by the group in general
