DataqualityforlifetimeexcesscancerriskestimatesOnlypubliclyavailabledatawereusedtocalculatetheseindicators.Datathatarenotpubliclyavailablemayproducedifferentresults.Nosystematicmethodformeasuringdataqualitywaspossible,soweprovidethefollowingassessmentsofhowwellthedatausedmayrepresenttheactualCanadianaveragelevels.QualityisratedhigherwhentherearedatafromanumberofCanadianmonitors,orfromCanadianstudiesthatshowresultssimilartoothercomparablestudies.Qualityisratedlowerwhendatafromfewmonitorsorstudieswereavailable,andlowestwhenestimatesarebasedonnon-Canadiandata.Othersmayratedataqualitydifferently.
