Art Paul"Head Games"

CODA Gallery is pleased to announce anexhibition of collected works fromfounding Art Director of PlayboyMagazine, Art Paul. 

Art Paul created the Playboy logo, thefrisky and charming rabbit that is amongthe top corporate icons of the world. 

Playboy magazine was noted for itscreative design and first class artworkthroughout Paul's tenure. Artists thatPaul commissioned for illustrationinclude Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali andmany Chicagoans such as Ed Paschke,LeRoy Neiman, and Seymour Rosofsky.

Over the past three decades, Paul hasfocused his attention on a range ofcreative projects. He began anexploration of human emotion throughthe drawing of hundreds of heads. Indescribing his collection, Paul has statedthat his subject goes beyond the outlineof a human head. The head representsthe symbol for all humanity.

 The CODA Gallery exhibition "Head Games," which runs through March 28th, is thefirst time in Art Paul's long creative life that any of his work has been offered for

sale. He is planning to attend the Opening Reception. 

The opening reception will be filmed for the upcoming documentary, Art ofPlayboy, a feature‐length film about the life and impact of Paul.
