art project 6th grade - painting and poetry - supermarket
DESCRIPTION
Learning and remembering new words is not always very easy, but it's very important. The more words we know the more things we can talk about in English. So, we had an idea. What if we used our favourite arts to remember new words? Last week was about going to the supermarket and we used Painting and Poetry. Here's what came up.TRANSCRIPT
goes
I like going to the supermarket
because I like to fill my basket
with vegetables and other fruit
that makes me feel so good
When I get into the store
I want to buy them all!
everything I see on the shelves
sweets and candy and gingerbread
Everything looks tasty and fine
that makes me have an appetite
strawberries, cherries and the apple pie
Oh, I wish I had more time!
Do you go to the supermarket every day
to buy a banana, an apple and a cherry?
Do you go to the supermarket in the morning
to buy fresh milk and eggs before you go
shopping?
Do you go to the supermarket in the evening
to buy sugar and flour or are you freezing?
Do you go to the supermarket late at night
to buy cheese and meat or are you in a fight?
Do you go to the supermarket on foot
or don’t you go at all because you’re poor?
