“ART RIGA”International art fair “ART RIGA” is intended as an annual long-term project
involving art professionals from all over the world: art galleries, art critics,
specialised cultural magazine publishers. The tradition was founded in 2014 by the
possibilities which came when Riga became the European Capital of Culture, and
will be developed further over the coming years.

ART RIGA 2016. FOREIGN GALLERIES GATHER TO THIRD EDITION OF ANNUAL CONTEMPORARY ART BALTIC SHOW- ART RIGA FAIR 2016 This year's ART RIGA, one of most important events in the Baltic art calendar, will take place on November 21-27. Contemporary Art galleries from as far afield as Mexico and Indonesia are taking part ‑ alongside galleries from Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Georgia, Estonia and host nation Latvia. ART RIGA 2016 will again be held in the historic Latvian Railway History Museum in the city-centre. ART RIGA was established in 2014 to mark Riga's status as European Capital of Culture, with transactions exceeding half a million euros. VIP PRIVATE BANKING and Media Opening Day is November 21. ART RIGA FAIR social mission is to provoke viewers on art conversation. Conference cycle GENIUS LOCI Europe. ART RIGA 2016 will have an expanded programme of talks and events, playing host to international art professionals, institutions, galleries, publishers, media, collectors and art-lovers. There were several large-scale art events: exhibitions, performances, seminars, corporative events, lectures, literary actions, theatre, film forums, WORKSHOPS. 500 chairs, AUDIO, VIDEO SYSTEMS, WIFI, 1000 ARTWORKS, Wine Cafe, new Art bookselling. A multilingual press centre will be in operation throughout the Fair, and there will be live broadcasting on the Web. We o₪er selection of the best contemporary artist's paintings, sculptures, graphical works. This is a collection of high quality works of recognised professionals. Contemporaries in art that will become classics. The proposed exhibition is designed for the widest possible audience and visitors to address a variety of categories. Event organisation place:Latvian Railway History Museum is chosen because of its cultural and historical significance in Riga's environment, it's physical capacity and it's easily available location for tourists.
The “Art Riga” event will incorporate not only traditional and interdisciplinary art shows, but also a broad program of analytical discussions and seminars.We would like to invite everybody to expand their ways of experiencing, enjoying and consuming art, to change viewpoints and extend their limits of perception.
The Art Fair's round table, conference "GENIUS LOCI EUROPA" and press centre will be alongside the Railway Museum's unique exhibits - a reconstructed variety of Latvian history period wagons.In an environment, which is based on traditional, historic accomplishments it's particularly nice to dream about the future of art and its development - next to objects like these.
The format is forced to divide the following area of the participants choice to congenerous blocks by the booths of the participant, but the exhibition possibly also might have exceptions for this rule in some cases.

Annual International
During the Art Fair there is planned a program filled with a variety of activities: opening event with a concert, conference GENIUS LOCI EUROPA, seminars, round tables, presentations of participants, participants will have a special discount tour around Riga: National Opera Theatre, Latvia National Art Museum.
The Art Fair is planned for 7 days, from Monday to Sunday, the rst day is traditionally intended for the sectors professionals: art dealers, gallery owners, critics. VIP Private Banking events. Press conferences.
Event organiser:Ltd "Euroclub", in collaboration with the exhibition hall "Happy ArtMuseum" and Ltd "Pinakoteka" Expo hall, Latvian Railway HistoryMuseum, the National Library. Event organisers of the exhibition hall"HAPPY ART MUSEUM" and Ltd "Euroclub" have considerable experience in international exhibitions and major events, most of which areself- financed. ONGOING monthly work organised more than 100international art exhibitions exchange projects. From 2008 through2016, the organisers worked in self built exhibition hall "Pinakoteka"2200m2 and Galleria Riga entertainment centre, where the local contemporary artist society exhibition cycle "AUTUMN 2009 ", "AUTUMN2010" , Latvian premium designer union annual exhibition, the magazine "Rīgas Laiks" anniversary exhibition and others were held. There were international exchange exhibitions with our closest countries; the

creative Estonian and Lithuanian artist unions and a spectacularexhibition (around 100 monumental art examples) from St.Petersburg Art Academy funds. The gained contacts from these activities contributes to the creating and development of “ART RIGA”. The organisers have experience in the distribution of information: a large number of followers on social networks - 150000 which continues to grow.
21st of November – 27th of November 2016 Application deadlines are at 15th of September 2016. The decision on the selection of potential participants are done by the "ART RIGA" commission in 3 weeks time after the submitted application form and the required visual material has been received. Application form has to be sent by 15th September 2016 to the electronic mail address: [email protected] or [email protected]
Each participant receives 5 exhibition catalogs, 5 invitations to all activities related to "ART RIGA".Participants separately pay the costs of the exhibition catalogs - 500 EUR.
Payment arrangements. After the commissions a informative decision and the participation contract is concluded with the organiser, the participant will receive a bill. Participants have to pay 30% of the bill within 10 days of receipt of the bill, and the remaining amount until the 1st of November.

The organiser does not pay for GST (VAT), all of the bills are charged without GST (VAT).

to complete all the required payments till the10th of October and submit all the needed for visual identification materials. The organiser guarantees, that information about all theparticipants will be entered in www.artriga.com and stored until 01.10.2017. The organiser has rights to use the submitted visual material in alltypes of advertisement events in the press, electronic communication services , television and others.The organiser provides the booth's art equipment – 1 table, 4 chairs,booth art lighting and an label of the participants name.The organiser if needed, will o er the art work montage service.The cost of the service will be determined precisely by the art work amount and sizes. Participant booth montage works will take place 1 day – 19th-20th of November from 10:00 till 22:00, UMT/GMT +3 timezone. Participant booth demontage, packing and transportation works will take place from 27th of November 16:00 to 21:00 and the 28th of November from 9:00 to 15:00.
