We are living in the Anthropocene, a geological era of Earth that is mainly influenced by mankind. During only a few centuries, we managed to cover large areas of land by artificial materials, we changed the composition of the atmosphere and we polluted the oceans.

Today the world’s biggest challenges involve improving the environment of the Biosphere, further development of the Datasphere and space exploration outside the Geosphere. We would like to help with these challenges from the position of architects and designers - for instance by sustainable architecture, virtual architecture of the internet and space architecture.

The global endeavor to explore and settle in new worlds is tightly connected with the motivation of the whole society. Visual forms of presented projects can positively influence the perception of public audiences and other subjects towards the space industry. Our contribution can include hi-end graphics design, 3D illustrations, interactive websites and other means of promotion.

SPACE ARCHITECTURE

Our vision is a new concept of a sustainable closed-loop urban environment. Environmental systems such as Nature 2.0 have the potential to be a 5-dimensional reality. This would incorporate 3 physical dimensions with time and digital information as the other two. Development of information technologies allow us to design a new form of architecture with enhanced functionality, advanced geometry and a new level of complexity. This new architecture paradigm should be in harmony with nature and old heritage, whilst being capable of actively supporting life on Earth as well as in outer space.

Centre for service and renovation of historical cars. Design was determined by a narrow triangular plot closed between river and highway. Building has to pro-vide space for regular service and spare parts retail. On the same time it had to become a symbol of ex-panding company and attract new customers. We created a building which reflects dynamic car movement, and corresponds with the neighbouring highway. Front facade is extensively glazed to display renovated veteran cars. The office of engineers and director is situated in the upper floor. The dominant of the project is cantelivered exposition place welcoming people arriving to Prague.

The company Vodafone ČR had an idea of creating a unique space which would mirror their corporate identity. A space that would represent a modern, progressive firm. At the same time it would be an oasis allowing them to sit pleasantly together with cups of coffee. The inspiring and refreshing environment charging their energy. That energy springs from the tension between the mutually completing form, colour and operating antitheses. By discovering them gradually the visitor becomes engaged in the game. First, he is led by the stream of the fluid wall protecting that oasis, shortly afterwards he is confronted with the vast red-shining plastic logo of the company; a jewel around which all other tasks take place.

Everything began in Prague at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University. We started a non-profit organization called Futura Pragensis made up of a team of 30 enthusiastic young architects and designers from Prague, London and other cities. We created many designs and scenarios of development for the future and we have presented our work in more than 12 exhibitions in galleries in Europe and Canada. First Futura Pragensis in Trade Fair Palace became the most visited exhibition of National Gallery Prague and was prolongated twice. Then we continued to other cities with support of Czech Centres and our great sponsors (Michael Tippin, Subterra, Modra Pyramida Mortgage Bank and others). We created a Virtual Reality System based on the Half-life 2 engine for presenting our visions in DX Toronto.

We were offered to create designs for corporate clients and architecture for several building projects in a total amount of 80 million Euro. These architecture projects involved, for instance, an administration building, a design hotel, an experimental research centre and a residential complex.

Zpráva managementu

Vážení akcionáři, klienti, obchodní přátelé,

s potěšením vám předkládáme výroční zprávu naší společnosti za rok 2007.

Rok 2007 byl pro OVB Allfi nanz a.s. dalším velmi úspěšným obchodním rokem v historii společnosti. Ve srovnání s rokem 2006 vzrostly celkové výnosy v členění dle IAS/IFRS o 19 %, na 959,1 mil. Kč, provizní výnosy pak vzrostly o 18 %, na 943,2 mil. Za stejné období se počet klientů zvýšil ze 760 na 795 tisíc. Rozsáhlé investice do rozvoje a veřejné prezentace fi rmy se projevily mírným poklesem celkového hospodářského výsledku dle IAS/IFRS o 7 %, na 144,6 mil. korun. Počet uzavřených smluv vzrostl oproti roku 2006 o 11 699 smluv, což představuje meziroční nárůst o 8 %. Překonali jsme tak cíle, které jsme si sami pro rok 2007 stanovili, a posílili svou pozici jedničky na trhu.

Hospodářské výsledky za rok 2007, rovnocenné s úspěchem celého holdingu, jsou pro naši společ-nost zavazující. I nadále proto budeme investovat do odborné přípravy stávajících i nových poradců. Nárůst počtu uzavřených smluv v celkovém počtu je nejpřesvědčivějším důkazem nejen toho, že naši poradci nabízejí zajímavé produkty, ale zejména toho, že svou práci dělají dobře.

Poradenství OVB směřuje k zajištění potřeb celé rodiny. V porovnání s předchozími lety se zvýšil podíl hypotečních, úvěrových a investičních produktů, což kopíruje tržní situaci.

Poradci OVB Allfi nanz, a.s., poskytují svým klientům komplexní služby. Jasně o tom svědčí vysoký po-čet smluv neživotního pojištění. Z hlediska potřebných znalostí je to oblast nejnáročnější a uzavření smluv například na pojištění majetku patří k nejpracnějším. Je nepochybné, že poradci OVB Allfi nanz, a.s., se uzavírání těchto smluv rozhodně nevyhýbají, a jejich klienti díky tomu mají zajištěna i rizika související s vlastnictvím majetku a s odpovědností za způsobenou škodu.

Rovněž vysoký počet smluv v oblasti investic je důkazem toho, že poradci OVB Allfi nanz, a.s., využívají moderních nástrojů na zhodnocování peněz svých klientů. V oblasti životního pojištění převládají jed-noznačně moderní produkty investičního životního pojištění. Vysoký počet těchto uzavřených smluv byl v roce 2007 způsoben mimo jiné státní podporou tohoto produktu v podobě daňových úlev, které si většina klientů přeje využít.

Společnost OVB Allfi nanz, a.s., jako fi nančně poradenská společnost spolupracuje s 36 partnery, špič-kovými společnostmi, poskytovateli různých fi nančních produktů, působícími na českém trhu. I proto jsou naši odborní fi nanční poradci schopni doporučit klientovi optimální variantu investování. Pro OVB Allfi nanz je důležité získat vždy dobré a seriózní partnery. Rozhodujícími faktory, podle kte-rých jsou partneři vybíráni, jsou stabilita partnerské společnosti, její historie jak z evropského, tak i z lokálního hlediska, portfolio produktů a forma řešení jednotlivých obchodních případů. Jedině na základě kvalitního výběru a rozhodnutí můžeme s dobrým svědomím doporučovat našim zákazníkům produkty našich partnerů a uzavírat s nimi smlouvy.

OVB Allfi nanz, a.s., si v roce 2007 udržela svůj dynamický růst a posílila své vedoucí po-stavení na trhu. Dnes je naše společnost jedničkou v poskytování fi nančních služeb v Čes-ké republice. Protože poptávka po zajišťovacích, investičních a fi nančních strategiích nepole-ví ani v následujících letech, máme i nadále velmi dobré růstové předpoklady a perspektivy z hlediska budoucích hospodářských výsledků.
