The difference between the PE,HDPE,PVC,and Nano-Modified material,plz see below:

PE material: the toughness and weather-resistance are all mediocre, non-fireproof. Many used for indoor.HDPE Material: it is high-density PE material,the toughness and weather-resistance are much better than PE material, non-fireproof,Suitablefor outdoor.PVC material: V0 flame retardant grade,but weather-resistance is not very good.Nano-Modified HDPE Material:V0 flame retardant grade,UV-resistant,anti acid alkali, excellent weather resistance(-70C℃ to 130℃ ),looksmore natural than PVC material.

Binding Instruction

1.Lay the wooden framework at the roof which has made water-proof processing (woodenframework is the base to pave wood plastic board).

2. Pave wood plastic board or other materials.

3. Make installation reference line on the wood plastic board, whereof, 30mm interval ateaves and 65mm interval at roof.

4. Bind thatch tiles along the reference line from the eaves, please avoid stamping on thethatch tiles while paving.

5. Make some adjustment such as the thatch curvatures and make them smooth and natural.

Thatch Roof Gazebo Installation

1.Assemble frame (nuts and bolts supplied);

2.Assemble frame (follow numbers).

3.Place frame in desired position.

4.Mark post holes. Make sure center of hole will line up with center of post.

5.Dig holes.

6.Put poles in place (chock with timber wedges) approx. plumb.

7.Cut posts off level at desired height (approx. 2100mm from finished floor level.Make sure posts put back in same hole).

8.Brace at least one post firmly.

9.Lift frame onto posts and use coach screws to fix staple over frame into center ofpost.

10.Straighten posts (by levering bottom of posts) until plumb or visually correct.

11.Concrete posts.

Installation on a Metal Roof FrameGraceThatch manufacture a wide range of circular, oval and square lightweight

tubular metal roof frames specifically designed to support the African cape reed thatch tiles.

The bars are positioned so that the thatch tiles have a 100mm (4`) uniform overlap. Each

thatch tile has a series of drills binding into the aluminum alloy binding strip at the top of the tile.

The thatch tiles are simply clipped onto 8mm tubular bars and installed in layered courses

starting from the bottom. The frame is virtually invisible from underneath and all the

thatch tiles are clearly visible from the inside.

Roof Pitch

Recommended pitch for exterior roofapplications is 30°

Installation on a Wooden Frame

Alternatively the thatch tiles can be either clipped onto an 8mm diameter sturdy rope or nailed directly onto woodenbattens.

Once again the tiles are installed in layered courses. The rope or wooden battens should be placed approximately320mm (12.5`)from each other.

This allows for a recommended 100mm (4`) uniform tile overlap. In the case of the wooden battens, the thatch tilesare either nailed or stapled directly through the reinforced aluminum alloy binding strip into the wooden battens.

Installation can be made in straight or gently rounded lines. For gently rounded structures the sturdy rope option isrecommended.
