autumn leaves by Minawala

Minawala Jewellers introduces ‘Autumn Leaves’, inspired by the flow and subtle energy of “Falling

leaves on an autumn evening”. The one-off diamond neckpiece, which subtly depicts the shapes of leaves, is designed for the carefree woman of today.

Montblanc 4810 Mini will introduce a new delicate and playful spirit to fine jewellery during

its launch this month. “Conceived with a young, free spirited sensibility,” the four-piece collection of 18 karat yellow gold bracelets and necklaces uses hearts and dainty stars to interpret Montblanc’s iconic star emblem. This six-pronged shape is the unifying motif of the best selling Montblanc 4810 line.

The chains carry the mother-of-pearl stars reflecting the luminosity of the setting winter sun amid the snow-covered peaks of the Mont Blanc massif.

The number “4810” honours the range of Europe’s highest mountain - the Mont Blanc - which stands 4,810 metres tall. The Montblanc star emblem symbolises the virtuosity of Montblanc’s craftsmanship as well as its commitment to producing the highest standard of luxury.

The finishing touch of each Montblanc 4810 mini bracelet and necklace is a special clasp composed of a pair of loops shaped like the signature six-pronged star emblem of Montblanc.

rosata’s ode to Goddesses

The two new silver collections from Rosata venerate the two goddesses of love namely Venere and Afrodite.

Just like the goddesses, the Mythology of Elegance collection is bewitching, seductive and enchanting.

The collection dedicated to Venere includes bangles, earrings, rings enamelled in sparkling and electrifying colours such as white, black, blue and red and violet. The glitter enamel etches little stars, moons, and the planets.

Another line with trendy “animal designs” – evokes Diana, the goddess of hunting. The bracelets choose

zebra, python, and spotted patterns to create a wild yet seductive world.

The line dedicated to Afrodite, the Greek goddess of love, is the symbol of a “beautiful but whimsical woman,” which is the reason why the collection of silver bangles features warm tones such as rose, green, and brown. The bangles are satin-finished, diamond-cut, or threaded, while the necklaces and earrings are modern as they mix and match materials such as leather with rose silver metal to for “young, modern goddesses.”

In keeping with the trend towards monochrome and black jewellery, Cologne-based jewellery designer

Peter Guels has designed exclusive jewellery from black iron, and combined it aesthetically with gold, platinum and precious stones.

He has created brushed black necklaces, bracelets and rings along with the use of precious metals or diamonds, moonstones or sapphires. All objects are hand-made and underscore the ‘archaic’ look merged with elegant design.

An association of iron with heavy chains is deliberate. “Only, these are not prison chains but a strong link to the heart of her lover,” observes Peter.

two eye-catching collections namely the ‘Bird Collection’ and the ‘Aquamarine collection’.

The bird-inspired line uses creates awesome designs around the gemstones. It generously uses large baroque pearls, precious metals, and diamonds. The finger ring using a grey South Sea baroque pearl doubles up as the body of a bird, while its soft curved lines of pink and yellow gold add to the piece’s detailing by outlining the wings, tail-feather and beak. The other pair of South Sea pearl earrings depicts the silhouette of a penguin.

The aquamarine white gold collection is based on clean geometric lines, which are encrusted with rose and princess cut diamonds. The sea coloured stones are used artistically with various cuts and shapes.
