Photorealism is a simulated scene that appears indistinguishable from a photograph or from real l ife. video games have to render their graphics in real time, usually at a rate of 60 frames per second.

That's why it's good to be sceptical of pre-rendered video game trailers. They inevitably look better than the final game, because they are essentially movies, not samples of how the game looks when you play it.

The most known game that implements abstraction into there game style would Tetris which uses different shapes and colours and using them to slot them together.

Exaggeration mostly used in RPG’s is a art style which is used in anime and manga normally, the art style is exaggerates many scenes within the game.
