When June Cruz created ENAMOUR she intended on making a fun and sophisticated line of dresses and tops for par-ties and social events.As June has grown so has her collections; combining classic silhouettes with her own distinct design aesthetic, she connects with women’s needs for functionality while still giving attention to the special details that make her designs unique.

Several years ago Sonja Sheasley began a quest to find the most environmentally responsible and non-toxic baby wipes. Along the way, she fell in love with bamboo and felt that its contribution in alleviating the burden that trees bear could be enormous. Already having some knowledge in herbalism, essential oils and natural product development, she researched bamboo non woven fiber for two years before launching Bum Boosa Bamboo Products with the help of friends and family 2009.

UpCycled Products:With a knack for working with alternative materials, talented fashion designer and founder of Enamour, June Monteiro has made it her mission to head up the Bum Boosa Bamboo Products Upcycling Program. This program encourages Bum Boosa Bamboo Baby Wipes customers to return their empty baby wipes packaging to the company in return for rebate and gift certificates. The recovered material is then repurposed into new hand-crafted items after they have been sterilized. The packages are upcycled into diaper totes or convenient on-the-go diaper changing pads, jewelry, infant rosette head bands, and more!

Liv & Lov is Dora’s personal motto. Liv: Go for it! Follow your Dreams & Lov: Do so with Compassion for Others and the Environment. It is a sentiment she strives to follow and encourages others to as well.

With this philosophy, I believe as a silversmith and jeweler I have a particular responsibility towards where my my metal comes from. Did you know metal mining pollutes water, harms the environment and is one of the most dangerous jobs?

There are 25 million artisanal and small scale miners (ASM), with 150 million indirectly dependent. Of that number, 15 million are focused on gold. These numbers are rising with the current metal market.

40% of global Mercury pollution is from ASM and 15% from Large Scale Mining= 55%. Mercury damages the central ner-vous system. That means irreversible brain damage.

My goal is to help develop ethical and ecological metal mining alternatives that are good from the source, for miners and the environment. Starting by helping with the current Fairtrade and Fairmined gold initiatives while developing silver. Natural GLO Designs handcrafted jewelry is made in Wakefield Rhode Island by the owner and designer Laken Smith. Natural GLO is inspired by the love of gemstones, metals, fashion trends and nature.

Laken started creating jewelry for herself and friends on a smaller scale. The requests for custom pieces started to spread by word of mouth and her hobby grew into a small business. The designs are based on a mix between industrial chic, glam and bohemian. The materials used are mixed metals, spikes, recycled items or upcycled items and genuine gemstones that are both polished and raw. No plastic or acrylic is ever used.
