Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is not only an international forum for the manufacturers of hunting equipment and weapons, or those who are interested in land and sea trips and those who love falconry and equestrianism; but it is an essential artistic platform to showcase the work of elite Emirati, Arab and foreign artists. It is a real opportunity for them to communicate with the public who is fond of arts related to heritage, history and customs Authentic Arabic.

ADIHEX hosts many artistic participations that range from painting, sculpture, photography, ornamentation, Arabic calligraphy and masterpieces of handicrafts. Its halls, gangways, and corners are decorated with paintings, embodiments, photographs, and artistic works in harmony with the essence of the event and its content, embodying history and heritage and mimicking the ancient environment derived mostly from the customs and traditions of the region in general, and the UAE in particular.

The exhibition also hosts fine artists, photographers, calligraphers and artistic designers, as well as local and international art galleries and exhibitions, to display paintings made with high craftsmanship in various technologies, expressing various art schools, realistic, abstract and modern, and revolving their topics around desert and marine environments, hunting and all its concerns and issues.

The participating artists are keen to develop works of art and paintings specifically for the exhibition theme

“SUSTAINABILITY & HERITAGE… A REBORN ASPIRATION”, which no doubt will attract the admiration of the public, who showed a remarkable interest in this type of arts in the past sessions of the exhibition.

The keenness of many Emirati fine artists to participate in each edition of ADIHEX, comes as a personal initiative from them to present the art in this forum that brings together creators from different continents. Their works present the deep meaning of the Emirati heritage that is sunk in its ancient and authentic originality of the land and the desert, which is in line with the tastes of the public and enthusiastic and mimics all Emirati environments.

The presence of this large number of artists and galleries represents an important opportunity for them to meet the art and hunting audiences in the region, as they seek to leave a mark in the field of fine arts in the Emirates, and discuss with them their experiences and expertise.

The Higher Organizing Committee did not only activate and enrich the arts and crafts section, but also organized several artistic competitions in the areas of drawing and photography related to the theme of the exhibition, in the context of its keenness to preserve the local heritage and introduce the sports of fathers and grandparents and contribute to the history of wildlife and the desert environment and highlight the high-end ranking of falcons and horses in the Emirates. In addition, it highlights the important role played by the art of photography and paintings to contribute in the environmental awareness and documentation of equestrian sports and falconry that have a strong connection to the history of Arab civilization.

• This section aims at introducing the cultural, civilizational and environmental heritage of fathers and grandparents and the importance of preserving wildlife. It highlights as well the important role of those arts types by promoting the environmental awareness and documentation of falconry and equestrian sports, which have a strong connection to Arab heritage and human civilization

• All art pieces should comply with the guidelines/standards set by the organizing committee for the arts & crafts sector.

• All art pieces should also be relevant to this year’s theme: “SUSTAINABILITY & HERITAGE… A REBORN ASPIRATION”.

• Artists should submit a video clip of their painting session no later than 20 July 2021.

(All videos can be displayed and shared in ADIHEX social media upon artists’ approval).

• All art pieces including portraits featuring dignitaries and VIPs will be subject to pre approval from the committee before the event.

• All participating artworks are reviewed by the selection committee, which is entitled to reject any artwork that does not match the nature of the exhibition.

• All artists are required to adhere to the general conditions for participation which are mentioned in the exhibition website.

ARTS & CRAFTSGUIDELINES


• All artists must provide their full names with an overview of their curriculum vitae and artwork, and a general summary about the participating works clarifying the artist’s experience, with an introductory paragraph on each work (name of work - size - material used - price - year of production).

• Art Galleries are required to showcase and label each piece of art with the artist’s name and short description of each painting attached with an introductory profile (name of work - size - material used - price - year of production)

• Artists should declare the price of each art piece and a final price list should be submitted to the organizers who will keep it for onsite reference and will be printed at anytime to the disposal of the buyer.

• We encourage and urge the artists to paint animals such as falcons, horses, hares and other wildlife including their natural habitat, landscapes and any relevant items related to the event theme: “SUSTAINABILITY & HERITAGE… A REBORN ASPIRATION”

• It is very important for the artwork to have a civilizational message, through recalling the dangers which are threatening the species and working together to protect them, and preserving cultural heritage

• An online picture gallery will be at the artists’ disposal in the event website for your inspiration. www.adihex.com.

• No later than 15 August 2021, artists should share pictures of their art pieces along with the description by e mail to [email protected]. Incomplete artwork can be shared as well.

• The committee will share the list of validated art pieces the latest by 30 August 2021.

دليل اإلرشادات للوحات الفنية

يتوجــــب علــــى جميــــع الفنانيــــن تقديــــم أســــمائهم الكاملــــة مــــع نبذة عــن ســــيرتهم الذاتيــة والفنية، وفكــرة عامة عن األعمــال المشــاركة توضــح تجربــة الفنــان، مــع فقــرة تعريفيــة عــن كل عمــل )اســم العمــل - المقــاس - الخامــة المســتخدمة

- الســعر- ســنة اإلنتــاج(.

يتوجــــب علــــى صــــاالت العــرض الفنيــة، كتابــة اســم الفنــان مــع شــرح قصيــر عــن كل لوحــة مشــاركة باســمهم، مرفقا بنبــذة تعريفيــة )اســم العمــل - المقــاس - الخامــة المســتخدمة - الســعر- ســنة اإلنتــاج(.

يجــــب علــــى الفنانيــــن تقديــــم ســــعر كل عمــــل فنــــي ضمــــن قائمــــة أســــعار نهائية تقدم إلى اللجنة المنظمة للرجــوع إليهــــا فــــي المعــــرض. ويتــــم طباعتهــا فــــي أي وقــت لتوضع تحــــت تصرف المشــتري.

نحــــث ونشــــجع الفنانيــــن علــى رســم الحيوانــات مثــل الصقــــور والخيــول واألرانــب وغيرهــا مــــن الحيوانــات البريــة، بمــا فــــي ذلــــك مواطنهــــا الطبيعيــة ومناطــــق عيشــها فــي البــــراري وأي مواضيــــع أخــرى ذات صلــــة بموضــوع المعــرض

المســاهمة مــن خــال رســالة الفــن الحضاريــة بالغــة األهميــة، بالتذكيــر باألخطــار التــي تتهــدد األنــواع والتكاتــف لحمايتهــا، وصــون التــراث الثقافــي.

يهــدف هــذا القســم فــي المعــرض للتعريــف بالتــراث الثقافــي والحضــاري والبيئــي لآلبــاء واألجــداد وأهميــة الحفــاظ علــى

الحيــاة البريــة، وإبــراز الــدور الهــام الــذي تقــوم بــه هــذه الفنــون فــي التوعيــة البيئيــة وتوثيــق رياضتــي الصيــد بالصقــور

والفروســية، والتــي لهــا ارتبــاط قــوي بالتــراث العربــي والحضــارة اإلنســانية.

تخضــع كافــة القطــع الفنيــة لشــروط دليــل اإلرشــادات الخــاص باللجنــة المنظمــة لقطــاع الفنــون والحــرف اليدويــة.

كمــا يجــب علــى جميــع األعمــال الفنيــة أن تكــون ذات صلــة بموضــوع هــذا العــام:

كمــا ويســتضيف المعــرض فنانيــن تشــكيليين ومصوريــن فوتوغرافييــن ورســامين وخطاطيــن ومصمميــن فنييــن، فضــا عــن دور عــرض ومعــارض فنيــة محليــة ودوليــة، ليعرضــوا لوحــات مصنوعــة بحرفيــة عاليــة بمختلــف التقنيــات وتعبــر عــن ــة، ــة والبحري ــة، وتتمحــور مواضيعهــا عــن البيئــات الصحراوي مختلــف المــدارس الفنيــة، الواقعيــة والتجريديــة والعصري

ويأتــي حــرص كثيــر مــن الفنانيــن التشــكيليين اإلماراتييــن علــى المشــاركة فــي معــرض الصيــد والفروســية فــي أبوظبــي فــي كل دورة مــن دوراتــه، كمبــادرة شــخصية منهــم، ســعيا إلــى أن يكــون الفــن حاضــرا فــي هــذا الملتقــى الــذي يجمــع مبدعيــن مــن مختلــف القــارات. وتقــدم أعمالهــم مفــردات مــن التــراث اإلماراتــي المغــرق فــي قدمــه واألصيــل أصالــة

األرض والصحــراء، وتتماشــى مــع أذواق الجمهــور والمهتميــن، وتحاكــي جميــع البيئــات اإلماراتيــة.

ويمثــل حضــور هــذا الكــم مــن الفنانيــن ودور العــرض فرصــة مهمــة لهــم للقــاء جمهــور الفــن والصيد فــي المنطقــة، تصب فــي إطــار ســعيهم لتــرك بصمــة فــي ســاحة الفن التشــكيلي فــي اإلمــارات، والتحــاور معهــم حــول تجاربهــم وخبراتهم.
