TRUNK LIST WEEK 4 ARTS & CRAFTS Daily: Paper, pencils, colored pencils or markers, tape, scissors Day 1: Blankets, sheets, clothespins, binder clips, string, wooden dowels or long sticks, heavy books; optional: a string of lights Day 3: Old T-shirt, scissors Day 4: Shoebox, black electrical tape, ruler, wax paper Day 5: Toilet-paper rolls, glue, tissue paper, ribbon, small treats or toys STEM Day 1: Plastic soda bottle with cap, vegetable or mineral oil, food coloring, Alka-Seltzer tablet; optional: sequins and glitter Day 2: Cut plastic bottle, old sock, scissors, bubble solution (or dishwashing soap + corn syrup) Day 3: Plastic jug, bar of soap, about 10 feet of twine or nylon cord, long stick or broom handle, large nail for making holes, tree branch or another place from which something can be hung PERFORMING ARTS Day 3: Sock, heavy paper, scissors, glue, buttons Day 4: Three juggling balls or beanbags SPORTS & GAMES Day 1: Cardboard box, compass or jar lid for drawing a circle, adult with box cutter or knife for cutting, glue, two wooden skewers or toothpicks, small beanbags or weighted paper squares; optional: paint Day 2: Pillow Day 3: Tape or jump rope Day 4: Pencil; optional: printer Day 5: Timer For most activities, you’ll only need basic household items. Here’s a list of specific materials your camper might need this week, so you can plan accordingly. When cutting materials, campers require adult permission (and maybe help!).
