As dusk fell at Baddesley Clinton Manor House, thecandle lit upper rooms gave us a feeling of how the housewould have looked in years gone by. The last few duckswere on the water in the moat surrounding the house aswe walked on and came to the lake, where the fading rays of the sunlight filtered through the trees reflecting on the water below.

As we drove away all we could see of the house were theflickering candles.
