07th February 2016 Introduction

The most beautiful Names of Allah are for Him alone and we should call Allah with His names for making Dua. This is one of the way of making your dua to be acceptable. Your level of understanding of Quran will increase with knowing the Names of Allah. This shows that Names of Allah are barakah and they will increase goodness in all direction. When a person makes a sin he needs to repent to bring peace. If all members in family are close to Deen they will live in peace. This is the power of the Name of Allah. We did the hadith of saying Salam to each other. We will be saved from any harm by saying Salam. Another hadith is as follows; Abu  Huraira  reported:  The  Messenger  of  Allah,  peace  and  blessings  be  upon  him,  said,  “You  will  not  enter  Paradise  until  you  believe  and  you  will  not  believe  until  you  love  each  other.  Shall  I  show  you  something  that,  if  you  did,  you  would  love  each  other?  Spread  peace  between  yourselves.”  Source:  Sahih  Muslim  54   Our Islam is connected by loving each other this is the basis of our religion. Anyone who comes to Islam then all Muslims will start to love them. Prophet warned the muslims that you should not hate each other. People hate each other because of this world. A muslim should love other Muslims. You don’t need to socialise with each and every Muslim. You should have love in heart and not hate each other make duas for them and don’t make someone hate anyone else. This happens because of this world that you make people hate each other. It is so dangerous to have hatred for someone. Prophet said that hatred is like a shaver that shaves off all hair. People are doing good deeds but because of hatred the good deeds gets wasted. Its like you have beautiful hair but its all shaved as the hair represents the good deeds. Similarly the hasad is very dangerous that eats the good deeds like fire burns firewood. Our Emaan should be seen in our dealing with people that we love and hate people because of Allah. Love and hate is because of your desire but a Muslim will love and hate because of Allah. Hatred will take away your deen

that includes prayer, fasting or Hajj. To protect your good deeds you need to love each other. We need to remove ourselves from our own desires and this is the real freedom in Islam. We should not hate people without any reason. The real freedom is to free yourself from your own desires, this is Taqwa. You love for Allah and you hate for Allah. This is actually freeing your self from slavery. According to the hadith you will not have faith until you love each other. Sometimes we wonder what am I doing wrong that my emaan is so low. Maybe the reason is that you hate your brother or sister because of jealousy. You might be acquiring knowledge but you hate someone person. This is totally wrong and will become a hurdle in increasing your Emaan. People who come to acquire knowledge but they have arrogance in them then Allah will not let them learn the knowledge they will be unable to understand it. This arrogance is very common in people who are acquiring knowledge and its completely wrong. If the heart is not sound then you will not be able to enter paradise. In study circles jealousy and hatred is very common now. You need to love each other according to Islam. The criteria for loving is not to socialise with them and attach to them and go out with them. If you just say salam to them its enough to love them. This is 100% true as it is the hadith of the prophet (Sallelaho alehe wassalam). People have started to make groups in religion and hate the other religion. Deen is not a place for competition. This will destroy us and it has happened a lot in past. Just saying Salam will bring love and complete love. When you say Salam then don’t look at the person and say Salam then this will be for Allah. You make Salam the same for everyone and not to selected people. The way you say Salam should also be same for everyone. This is the Taqwa that you say Salam in the same way to everyone. If you have children then you are not allowed to kiss one child more than the other. Nabi (Sallelaho alehe wassalam) told us that you will not be accounted for having love for someone more than another but apparently you should treat everyone equally. Only Allah knows what you have in your heart.

Hadith of Prophet; “O people, spread Salam, feed the hungry, and pray at night when people are sleeping and you will enter Paradise in peace.” Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 1334, Grade: Sahih It is said to spread Salam and feed the poor and this is the duty towards the humans. Then when the people sleep you pray at night. Allah tells what you do for people and then your duty towards Allah (Subhan hu taala). If you commit sins then you can ask forgiveness from Allah but if you oppress people then you have to ask forgiveness from them and they might take hasanaat on the Day of Judgment. We need to be very careful when we deal with people. We should not harm people in any way as they will come on the Day of Judgment to take their rights. Rights of the people are mentioned before the rights of people. The Salam and food together will spread love among the people. The tahhajud time begins at Isha and ends at Fajr. The Tahajjud prayer should be prayed secretly when everyone is sleeping. All these things are not Obligations rather they are nawafil. The result of this will be that the person will enter Paradise with peace. This means all the way to paradise will be easy for them and this person will be in peace in this world also. We all want to go to jannah peacefully so we should follow this. Another hadith; When you meet someone and you say Salam to them and then while walking there is a barrier and then they meet again after barrier then you should say salam again. So for us if we go into a room and come out we should say Salam again if we do this in home then we will not have any fights. now this has become a strange hadith. Shaitan will try to create problems among the muslims. We should look the scholars that if they have different opinions they never showed hatred to each other. We should practice this at home that we say Salam to each other. People now a days will think why are you saying salam again. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also explained the reward earned by the one who says salaam, as was

reported by al-Nisaa’i in ‘Aml al-yawm wa’l-laylah (368) and al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (586) and by Ibn Hibban (493). They reported from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a man passed by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) whilst he was sitting with some others, and said “Salaam ‘alaykum (peace be upon you).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “[He will have] ten hasanaat (rewards).” Another man passed by and said “Salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allaah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “[He will have] twenty hasanaat.” Another man passed by and said “Salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah and His blessings).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “[He will have] thirty hasanaat.”
