Jump Start Stallions – 2010

H. BARON GYEMANT

H. Baron Gyemant is a 1988 16.1hh grey registered Shagya Sportlo. His Dam, H. Kek Gyemant Noi, is of the best Felver breeding. His sire, Hungarian Bravo, is a renowned Shagya stallion who helped improve the Shagya's of North America to the fine quality they are today. He has a wonderful disposition, short and strong in his loins, excellent well proportioned hooves, straight and correct legs and beautiful, big, floating movement. He will improve on any mare he breeds, due to his prepotent and careful breeding from some of the oldest dated stud books on both his dam and sire. He will produce a foal for ANY discipline whether it be dressage, jumping, eventing, or endurance. Due to his age we encourage those of you interested in a breeding to move fast as we don't know how long he will be able to produce.

SHAGYA US (*Shandor x Echo Daal) Participating in the ASAV Jump-Start Program 2010 – one breeding only!

This exciting young stallion has incredible, natural, athletic abilities with a wonderful disposition and mind and combines the characteristics of an all around Sporthorse with class and style. He is a big (16.1 hd.), bold mover with tremendous extension and impressive gaits.

His genes will carry on great potential for his offspring in jumping, dressage and endurance. Shagyas are considered “THE improvers” for all other breeds. Offspring from Shagya US will certainly show the great versatility the Shagya breed is famous for. Breed your mare to him and you will have a Sporthorse par excellence☺.

He was born in 2001, registered and approved by both North American Shagya associations and is one of the few remaining Shandor sons. His dam Echo Daal is a very prolific mare and produced many outstanding foals. To quote Ulla Nyegaard, one of the most famous European breeders: “ the best Hungarian Bravo daughter I have seen”. Shagya US is in professional Dressage training, but he is available for stallion services. We will be using him for our own mares this year and looking forward to outstanding purebred Shagya foals in 2011 out of his breedings! He was tested and is SCID clear!

Stallion service for Shagya US is available through frozen semen! Please inquire about details & rates and the possibility for natural cover.

Jump Start Stallions – 2010 LILY CREEK STETSON

STETSON has sired a number of foals from Warm blood, Thoroughbred and Trakehner mares. All of them have wonderful substantial bone, and his pure Shagya traits inherited from his lineage. Yes, he is inbred, but he seems to have inherited all of the positive traits and we have yet to see any negatives. He throws his exceptional swinging gait and his quiet, willing temperament that is without rival. STETSON is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to improve riding characteristics. His foals are tall, 16h.h. or more and are very pleasing and correct in conformation.

STETSON is presently competing in distance riding and recently won a 30 mile race over the tough Old Dominion trail with his owner Brian Coss. They are training for 2010 and STETSON is showing great enthusiasm for trail work. He is ridden with a bitless bridle and controlled by voice. Brian is thrilled with his progress. He is a true testament to the quick, attentive attitude we find so prevalent in the Shagya breed.

Jump Start Stallions – 2010

SW Daniel (*Dante x SW Naomi) Dante’s first son out of SW Naomi, is currently living at Hawkview Ranch in Bend Oregon. Daniel, who will turn 6 years old this Spring is showing the finest of all the qualities we expect from his family going back 20 generations Daniel’s sire *Dante was imported from the Moos stud in Bavaria. He is one of the last sons of Nasrallah who sired many successful performance horses. The older siblings of Dante are successful dressage and performance horses in Europe. Daniel’s dam, SW Naomi, carries the Shagya family lines of O’Bajan through her sire Oman. The O’Bajan family brings versatility, athleticism, length of leg, deep heart girth and a short coupled frame. These are characteristics highly sought after in the modern sport horse and have been passed on to all of Naomi’s offspring. Daniel exemplifies all of the best qualities of his sire and dam and as a young stallion represents the best of the ShA lines. He has a kind temperament, and is thoughtful and willing to please. His first son, SW Domingo, was born in May 2008 and as a long yearling has grown to 15 hands and still growing. He shows wonderful competitive promise, in a tall athletic package with a sweet and willing temperament like his dad. Domingo is a good example of a warmblood Shagya cross. He is for sale and will make a wonderful future endurance or eventing prospect. Call for details.

We are proud to offer a breeding from SW Daniel to any ASAV member as part of the Jump Start 2010 program for $400. AI by cooled semen only. All collection and AI fees paid by the mare owner.

Daniel will stand for subsequent breedings in

the 2010 season for a stud fee of $650.
