With American Pharoah now safely tucked away in his stall at
Monmouth Park, Sundays $1.75-million William Hill Haskell
Invitational, to be nationally televised on NBC, will be the
biggest sporting event the Jersey Shore has ever hosted. h
Thats right, bigger than the Breeders Cup at Monmouth Park
in 2007, with so much attention on the first Triple Crown winner in 37
years making his first start since the Belmont Stakes. h The Breeders
Cup is mostly for the industry. This event is transcending, said Bob Kuli-
na, president of Darby Development LLC., operators of Monmouth Park.
