• Studies find:

• Students who use Academic Support Resources typically attain higher grades and complete their degree more often than those that do not (Cuseo, 2003)

• Academic Support Resources are typically very underused, especially by

those who need them most (Knapp & Karabenick, 1988). • Using Academic Support Resources does not mean you are clueless, are not

self sufficient, or cannot succeed on their own. Rather, it means you are more resourceful and motivated to attain academic excellence (Cuseo, Campagna, Thompson, & Fecas, 2013).
