There is a charge each term to cover the cost of hiring the hall. We mostly listen to classical music, which is chosen and presented by one of the Group. However some members are happy to listen and enjoy the choice of others. We always have time for a cup of tea and biscuits and enjoy a chat with each other. Family History group. Now, 30 strong, each month we have a short talk or internet presentation by any of our members followed by discussions, questions and answers to anything genealogical. We also have an annual visit to The National Archives at Kew by minibus which gives us free access to an enormous amount of documentation. We have a Facebook group page on which over half of our membership post related messages.

Line Dancing has taken off. This is for beginners, and is held in Normandy Village Hall every Thursday at 2.30 for one hour. Leader, Judy Nicholson says “I am delighted with the way this group has started. Its members are so keen to learn. Line dancing is quite intricate, but this group is excellent.”

Table Tennis Group. We have expanded into two groups and welcome new members. We play the current scoring rules, i.e. game finishes at 11 points with service changing every 2 points. All you need is a table tennis bat. Contact Alan Hayes—07770 598946. [email protected]
