Ashdale Engineering have supplied, installed, and commissioned the sophisticated fire detection and voice annunciation system at the 45 million pound IKEA store in Belfast.
The fire detection system incorporates phased evacuation along a full PC based graphics system in addition 8 ASD units, a 16 zone PAVA and disabled refuge system all integrated by Ashdale. At over 30,000sq feet, it is IKEA’S largest UK store to date.

Meeting the clients requirements every time ! Ashdale Engineering have completed a project for the Western Health and Social Services Board. The loop based panic attack system for their recently refurbished Clare House Facility. Ashdale has provided wireless infra-red “attack”pendants for staff to carry whilst moving around the building. An attack call is picked up by infra-red receivers located in each room. This reports to a main control panel, several repeat display units and to alpha numeric pagers that staff carry. This allow staff to respond very quickly to any request for help from another member of staff.
