We will have a non-hosted bar set up in the barn areas during the party.

ENTRIES Entries must be submitted on the official entry form for this show, photocopies of both sides are required and accepted. Additional forms may be requested from the show secretary or downloaded from the Region 7 website — www.aha7.org.

All entries in Region 7 classes must be accompanied by a listing of the qualifying placings/points using the form provided or by sending a copy of the qualifications listing from the AHA website.

Clearly indicate the Region 7 classes you are entering and the qualifying shows (placings and points).

Refer to the AHA handbook, Chapter 11, AHA Qualifications Chart for current rules.

You are responsible for knowing your own qualifications. Do not enter any Regional classes until you are qualified.

Only one horse per entry form. No horse may be entered on more than one entry form.

The complete name and address of the registered owner must appear in the “Owner” space.

Entries may be made in the name of a stable or farm only if the stable or farm name is a bona fide owner appearing on the horse registration papers or the stable or farm name has been registered with USEF and the number shown on the USEF certificate is noted in the space provided. In Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo Arabian classes if a farm is used as “owner” the farm must have an AHA Farm/Ranch membership and that Farm/Ranch membership number must be used as the owner AHA number. A copy of the Farm/Ranch membership card must accompany the entry.

For all Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo Arabian classes, a horse must be issued a Certificate of Registration from the Arabian Horse Association (includes racing), the Canadian Arabian Horse Registry or the Canadian Partbred Arabian Registry. A legible copy of the entire registration papers showing proof of ownership for each horse entered in the show must be submitted with the entry form. In the case of a contract or lease (containing registered name and number of the horse, date and signature of the seller or lessor) must be submitted with a copy of the registration papers.

Owner (or agent), trainer and all riders/handlers/drivers must sign entry form (adult signatures only-juniors are not authorized to sign) in the spaces provided and include addresses, telephone numbers where requested. If the owner is the trainer, owner must sign on both owner and trainer spaces. Trainer is “any adult who has the responsibility for the care, training and custody of the performance horse.”

Junior exhibitor’s name, address and birth date must appear on the entry form along with the parent(s)/guardian(s) signature in the appropriate area on the back of the entry form for each junior exhibiting in the show.

Owners, trainers, riders, handlers and drivers must provide a copy of their current AHA and USEF membership cards with their entry forms.

AHA does not permit single event memberships at Regional Championship shows. AHA competition membership is required. An active Equine Canada member who who is not a current USEF member and wants to compete in an amateur class must fill out the USEF membership application in order to compete.

SUBMISION OF ENTRIES-Close of entries is March 18, 2020 Post entries are accepted in all classes except ASHO4U Dressage. A USPS postmark will take precedence over postmarks from private meters. Pre-purchased postage will not be accepted as postmark dates.

All ASHO4U entries postmarked after March 18, 2020 or made at the show will be considered post entries and will be charged the post entry class fee (see fee schedule). Entries qualifying for the first time after March 18, 2020 for Region 7 championship classes may enter with no post entry fee. Entries qualified before March 18, 2020 may re-qualify after that date to avoid post entry fees.

After completing the show entry form, mail it together with the following to the show secretary’s address.

• A check (not post-dated) or credit card for all fees and charges

• A copy of AHA Competition, USEF, USDF (if riding Dressage),

• UPHA (equitation) membership cards for the owner, trainer and all exhibitors.

• Proof of completion of USEF Safe Sport Training- mandatory requirement for all USEF competition card holders 18 years and older including owners, trainers, exhibitors, etc).

• The USEF farm registration form and AHA Farm/Ranch membership for farm owned horses.

• Qualification form for regional championship show.

PAYMENT Make all checks payable to Region 7. Total entry fees and other applicable fees must accompany each entry. Open checks submitted with entries must be signed and will be totaled and closed out when the entry is processed. Post-dated or pro-rated checks will not be accepted and entries will be returned to sender upon receipt by the show secretary. Entries received without payment will not be processed until payment is received and will be subject to post entry penalties if payment is received after close of entries on March 18, 2020.

CONFIRMATION Entry confirmation will be mailed to the trainer unless otherwise indicated. Due to the volume of entries receipt of entries cannot be verified by email, phone or fax. It is therefore advisable to send entries via a method that has tracking. Emailed or faxed entries and/or documents will not be acknowledged until the official confirmations are sent out.

CHECKING IN Upon arrival to the show you are required to check in with the show office (hours listed on page 2). You will be required to provide proof of the following mandatory items in order to pickup your show packet(s):

• Coggins, health certificates (for horses coming from outside Arizona) and vaccination records as required by USEF.

• Proof of completion of the USEF Safe Sport Training

• An open check or credit card is required to pick up back numbers

Every horse entered in the show will be assigned an identification (back) number. It is important for the proper handling of the show the correct number is worn by the riders, drivers and handlers in all classes.

HORSES NOT COMPETING Horses brought onto the show grounds who are not competing in the show must be registered in the show office, pay the $35.00 office fee and stabling/grounds fees. They have the same health requirements for Coggins, Health Certificates and vaccinations. This paperwork must be presented to the show office. Individual who have horses found in non-compliance will be asked to remove them immediately.

REFUNDS To encourage early entries, the management agrees to cancel and refund entry fees (minus office fee) on any horse not fit to show providing written notice and a veterinary certificate are given to the Show Secretary by March 18, 2020. (USEF Rule GR12). Consideration for refunds for cancellation of entries after the closing date will be at the discretion of the Region 7 Show Commission. Substitution of horses will be permitted in accordance with USEF GR911.

RETURNED CHECKS/DECLINED CREDIT CARDS All payments made by check or credit card that are declined for any reason, may, at the discretion of show management, be assessed a penalty of up to $50.00 per transaction.

Payment must be made in full using either a cashier’s check or money order. A post entry fee may also be assessed for any entry having payments returned after the stated entry closing date.

NO-SHOW/FAILURE TO CHANGE RIDER, DRIVER, HANDLER PENALTY Any horse that has been entered into a class in which you do not want to exhibit MUST SCRATCH AT THE SHOW OFFICE as far in advance of the class as possible or with the Paddock Manager (if the situation dictates directly prior to the class). Any horse that is a “no show” for its class and has not been scratched as stated above will incur a $25.00 penalty. Any CHANGE of rider, driver, handler must be made in the show office with the appropriate signature and submission of AHA and USEF cards for the new rider, driver, handler. Failure to make this change will incur a $25.00 penalty. Don’t forget—USEF Safe Sport mandatory training requirements will apply to any exhibitor who is 18 or over. If training is not complete any points earned at this show will not count.

RODE DID NOT ENTER (RDNE) Any exhibitor who shows in a class in which they were not properly entered will be charged the regular class fee and a post entry fee plus a $25.00 RDNE fee. If it is a Region 7 Championship class the $300.00 post entry fee will apply. To be properly entered in a class, the class must have been listed on the original entry blank or on a properly submitted Add/Scratch form in the show office. Telling the Paddock Manager or gate person to add an entry to a class does not

constitute a proper entry and will result in the fees. Further, the paddock manager or gate personnel are not responsible for keeping an exhibitor out of a class that is not properly entered.

AMATEUR STATUS USEF defines an amateur as every person who has reached his/her 18th birthday as defined in USEF GR101 and has not engaged in any of the activities restricted by USEF. In order to show in amateur classes, an exhibitor must possess amateur certification issued by USEF. The certification, which must be renewed annually, must be available for inspection or the exhibitor must have filed an application with the show secretary at least one hour prior to such class. In the event a person holds an unrevoked certification but does not have it in their immediate possession, the show secretary may accept a signed statement to that effect which will be submitted to USEF. Only USEF members in good standing are eligible for amateur certification.

AMATEUR OWNER/JUNIOR OWNER TO RIDE CLASSES An owner’s class is one in which every contestant is a Junior/Amateur and the rider/handler is the owner or Amateur/Junior member of the owner’s family. Unrelated owners in Owner classes are now allowed. Refer to USEF AR110.4.e. for complete requirements and limitations. Leased horses are not eligible (contracts of Sale or Bill of Sale will not be accepted in Owner classes.)

USEF RULES AND REGULATIONS EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK AND WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH.

All questions not covered in these rules and regulations shall be decided by the show management whose decision shall be final.

Every horse entered for competition will comply with the rules of the horse show management, but management will, in no case, be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold this horse show and the officials, staff, employees and volunteers blameless for any loss or accident to his/her horse, employees, equipment which may occur from sickness, fire or otherwise.

The management reserves the right to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify any riders or exhibitors, prohibit entries and cancel award prizes without claims for damages; to cancel or combine unfilled classes, or to reschedule classes after due notice to exhibitors; to change rings or rotate judges.

Exhibitors are notified that any act of discourtesy or disobedience to the judges or officials, on the part of the owner, manager, rider or groom shall disqualify the horse and the owner shall forfeit his/her entry fees and other fees.

Show management reserves to itself the power to prohibit any person from attending or showing a horse in the ring and to remove any groom or horse from the show without being liable for compensation.

In accordance with the 1989 Federal Waste Tracking Act, which restricts the disposal of medical waste, bio-hazardous material waste containers will be provided in the stable area. All exhibitors and their agents are responsible for proper disposal of this waste.

No person will be allowed in the show ring during the time of judging except the exhibitor and those having official or requested duties to perform.

It is the tradition of the show that riders be correctly attired for the class in question, that attendants be neatly dressed and horses properly presented. Management may, at its discretion, bar any person from entering the ring if not suitably presented to appear before an audience.

Beginning January 1, 2019, every USEF adult member (18 years of age and over) with a “Competing Membership” shall complete Federation approved Safe Sport Training in accordance with the U.S. Center for Safe Sport Education & Training Policies. See USEF GR1303.

JUDGING All judging assignments are identified on page 3. For Regional Equidome classes we use the MOS scoring. All other regional classes will have one judge as identified on page 3.

All halter classes will be conducted using In Ring procedures.

Yearlings are now eligible to win the Championship in a Junior Championship class effective 4/1/18. See USEF AR118.

No one shall approach a judge with regard to a decision at any time unless he/she first obtains permission from the show management or USEF Steward, who shall arrange an appointment with the judge at a proper time and place.

DRESSAGE (ASHO4U) POST ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR ASHO4U DRESSAGE CLASSES. Competitors are strongly encouraged to submit their entries early as rides will be scheduled by order of date received.

DRESSAGE/WESTERN DRESSAGE (REGION 7) Region 7 Dressage classes will be scored and judges according to the AHA Handbook. Effective 1/1/2001, Regional shows are allowed the option of running their

championship classes by using either one ride or two rides. Region 7 has chosen to use only one ride for the 2020 championships, which will be the highest test in each level, ie: Training Level Test 3, First Level Test 3, etc. The Champion, Reserve Champion and Top Five of each level will be determined by the highest scoring tests.

HUNTER/JUMPER WARMUP CLASSES: Entry fee of $25 entitles the rider to one warmup.

SPORT HORSE IN HAND CLASSES Exhibitors in Sport Horse In Hand classes will be assigned times to present their horse to the judge. Times will be assigned in class order and will be posted no later than the morning of the competition. Exhibitors are expected to be punctual. In the event of a class conflict the exhibitor must notify the Sport Horse Manager or Assistant Manager in ADVANCE. The Sport Horse In Hand card will be held open until the exhibitor can complete their conflicting class and bring their horse to the Sport Horse arena to compete.

REGION 7 TOP FIVE Region 7 will award a full Top Five in all Championship classes. Top Five awards will be made regardless of the number of entries in a class. However, only awards made to the top 50% of the class (rounded up and not to exceed 5 awards) will receive Arabian Breeder Sweepstakes payout, AHA Horse Achievement Award, Amateur Achievement Awards, High Point Horse Achievement Award, High Point Amateur Achievement Award and Distance Award Points.

AWARDS AND RIBBONS

ASHO4U-Ribbons 1st-6th will be awarded in all Open and Amateur classes and 1st-8th in all Junior classes. Championship will receive a prize.

Regular Working Hunter Championship and Reserve Championship ribbons will be awarded to A/HA/AA in Cross Rails, Modified, Green, Regular ATR, Regular AOTR and Open divisions.

Region 7 Championship show will award a Championship and Reserve Championship garland, and Top 5 ribbon; Top Five ribbons will be awarded to the remaining Top 5. Each Region 7 Champion will receive an award.

AHA ACHIEVEMENT AWARD POINTS This show is recognized by USEF and AHA, enabling exhibitors to receive Achievement Award Points in all designated achievement award classes.

BIKES AND MOTORIZED VEHICLES STATEMENT Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.

DOGS are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be held on a leash or otherwise restrained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dog’s behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule will be issued a Yellow warning card and may be subject to penalty under USEF Chapter 6 and 7.

CLASS CALLS Due to any unforeseeable problems with any mechanical device, the PA system, paddock and barn calls must be considered a courtesy. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be sure that his/her horse is at the gate at the prescribed time. Every effort will be made to maintain a working PA system to carry class calls. However no protest will be upheld, nor will any class be changed on the basis of PA malfunction alone.

ARENAS The Equidome is covered 130’ x 290’ with mixed clay and sand footing. The Wendell Arena is open air 180’ x 360’. The warmup arenas are open air 150’x300’ with mixed clay and sand footing. Arenas 3 and 5A are covered with mixed clay and sand footing. Arenas 5,6,7 and 8 are open air 150’ x 300’with mixed clay and sand footing.

STABLING FACILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS The 936 permanent box stalls are 10’ x 12’ with doors. Fees for stalls, grooming stalls and tack rooms are $200 for the show.

Stalls must be paid with entries. Under no circumstance will stalls be held without payment by check, credit card or cash.

Tack/groom stalls may be limited to one for every 3 horses in a “stable group.” Stalls will be available at 9am on Saturday, April 18, 2020 and must be vacated by 6am on Monday, April 27, 2020 unless special arrangements are made with the Show Secretary.

Each animal must be assigned a separate stall (except brood mares with suckling foals)

If no stalls are requested a Grounds Fee of $35 per day or $100 for the whole show will be charged.

All stall assignment will be made by the Show Commission.

Patrons will receive Preferred Stabling with priority being given to long-standing patrons and supporters of the Region 7 show.

Once assignments have been made do not deviate without SPECIFIC approval of the Barn Manager.

EXHIBITORS WISHING TO BE STABLED TOGETHER MUST SUBMIT THEIR ENTRIES IN THE SAME ENVELOPE, USE A COMMON NAME AND INDICATE THIS ON THE ENTRY FORM.

Early arrival stalls are available and are considered any day prior to Saturday, April 18, 2020 at a cost of $25.00 per day/stall unlocked with or without a horse.

Exhibitors may start setting up on Friday, April 17, 2020 and not be charged an early arrival fee as long as stalls are not unlocked.

There will be one ring available for riding starting on Friday, April 17, 2020.

If you are arriving early you must contact the Show Secretary.

Be advised, stall requests for horses entered after March 18, 2020, or post entered late and requesting stabling with other horses may not be honored. Original stabling assignments will not be changed to accommodate late entries. Management will try to stable late entries as close as possible to other entries but no guarantee can be made. Show management decision is final.

FIRE MARSHALL RULES Inside the barns, it will be mandatory that all curtains, material, furniture be treated with a Class A fire retardant. This is only for items in the barn NOT BARN FRONTS!

All materials used for decorative purposes must be treated with flame-proofing and approved by the Fire Marshall. Material used as a ceiling must be made from Rose Brand Melt Out IFR material, this will be strictly enforced.

A less expensive ceiling material that has been approved for use as long as it is treated with a Class A Fire retardant and can be purchased from Home Depot.

The Fire Marshall may ask for proof of purchase, please keep your receipts.

The Scottsdale Fire Departments has informed us that in 2020 they will be enforcing City of Scottsdale fire safety rules at the show which includes but is not limited to: Fire Department Connections (FDC) at the front of the barns must be accessible, ceilings must use Rose Brand Melt Out Material (information in rules) and no sleeping in the barns will be tolerated see rules for additional information. BY ORDER OF THE FIRE MARSHAL - These will be strictly enforced by the Scottsdale Fire Department!

• Decorations in the front of the barn cannot extend more than 8 feet from front of barn, and all aisle ways between stalls must remain open.

• Materials used for decorative purposes must be treated with flame-proofing and approved by the Fire Marshall. Material used as a ceiling must be made from Rose Brand Melt Out IFR material, this will be strictly enforced.

• No sleeping in stalls will be tolerated.

• All Fire Department Connections (FDC) to the barn must be accessible. Those located on the front of the barn must be left clear (no drapes blocking visibility, or a door can be installed that swings outward (3’ wide x 7’ 6” tall) and must have a FDC sign placed on the door.

• Interior Finish, Decorative Materials and Furnishings, the flame spread rating for the areas of the barns used for the offices, changing rooms, etc., need to meet a ‘B’ Flame spread rating in the fire sprinklered barns. A flame spread rating of ‘A’ is required in those areas in the NON-fire sprinklered barns. Many items used in the event industry are manufactured to the ‘B’ rating or the higher ‘A’ rating so they can be used pretty much anywhere. The manufacturer would have to be contacted for verification of the production method. International Fire Code covers the requirements for flame spread of decorative material. The chapter includes sections on wall coverings, interior trim, textile use, mattresses, furniture, drapes and hanging items, and more.

• Items not manufactured to a specific rating, such as bare wood, draperies, wall hangings, etc., are allowed to be treated with a retardant, Dri-One is manufactured in Gilbert, and can be applied by the user per the listed application process to achieve the rating required.

BARN RULES Exhibitors will be financially responsible for any damage to their stalls on the premises.

THERE IS NO SMOKING IN THE BARN AREAS Do not put nails into side walls. Stalls must be vacated in their original condition. Stalls may not be structurally altered in any way.

ALL DAMAGES WILL BE BILLED BACK TO THE EXHIBITOR

You should remove all your lumber, but if WestWorld has to do a clean-up with machines, the cost will be at their machine rate of $40.00 per hour.

The electrical system may not be altered or tampered with under any circumstances. The use of open flame or space heaters is prohibited. Refrigerators and microwaves are prohibited.

Cooking or any heat/flame food preparation is not allowed in the stall area. If you overload the electric circuit and blowout circuit breakers you will be billed for the labor to repair or reset the breakers.

If WestWorld charges any fees for cleanup in your stall area, these fees will be passed on to the exhibitor.

PARKING AND TRAILER AREAS Specific areas have been set aside for parking of horse trailers and vans of exhibitors reserving stalls. The Barn Manager will direct you to these areas when you check in. There is no parking allowed between the barns or in designated no parking areas.

Be advised there can be other events taking place at WestWorld during our show; allow extra time on the weekends when approaching the facility and the fastest way in and out is the back entrance at McDowell Mountain Ranch Road. If they are charging admission, please make sure to identify yourself as attending the horse show and you should not be charged. If you are, let the show office know and you will be reimbursed.

FEED AND BEDDING Feed and bedding will be available on the show grounds at competitive prices. Payment must be made to the Feed and Bedding Manager at the time of ordering. NO STRAW IS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. Region 7 is contracted with West-World to provide bedding. Exhibitors hauling in their own bedding are violating our contractual agreement and USEF GR1216. PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

Region 7 forbids any pictures taken for the distribution through web-sites, social media or other outlets. No photographers other than the official show photographers may take pictures in the ring or from the rail. Cameras with lenses longer than 4” or DSLRs will not be permitted. Additionally, watermarked photography will be considered professional photography and will not be allowed to be posted on any media outlets by any photographers other than Region 7 or the official photographers.

GATE POLICIES GATE HOLD and TACK CHANGES

Gate holds and tack changes are approved ONLY when requested at least 3 classes BEFORE the hold. Use your best judgement regarding advance notice AND don’t forget our responsibility to exhibitors preparing for classes later in the session affected by your decision. Last minute changes greatly affect their time planning. Gate holds are granted ONLY BY THE PADDOCK MASTER and ONLY when a horse and/or rider have back-to-back classes. Gate holds are NOT granted for classes that are not back-to-back, unless classes in between the two classes have no entries. If granted, the gate hold MUST be publicly announced. All exhibitors need as much schedule notification as possible. Before granting approval the gate sheet must be used to confirm that a horse/rider are entered in back-to-back classes. If in doubt, the show office will be consulted prior to approval. If the gate sheet does not reflect a back-to-back conflict a gate hold will not be granted NO MATTER WHAT. NO EXCEPTIONS. If approved a hold is only 3 minutes. That, added to the 2 minutes allowed to keep the gate open provides a total of 5 minutes. Once the hold period begins, the gate MUST BE OPENED within 3 minutes - NO EXCEPTIONS. Once opened, the gate may stay opened for 2 additional minutes.

TBA CLASSES TBA CLASSES are available in both ASHO4U and REGION 7. Any class in the AHA class list or that is recognized by AHA with the exception of Informal Combination, Cutting Horse, Team Penning, Carriage Pleasure Driving, Combined Driving, Driven Dressage, Dressage, Western Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, Sport Horse In-Hand and Under Saddle and Ranch Sorting, is available for TBA placements. The time slots are offered on a first-request basis and must be accompanied by payment: ASHO4U qualifying class $35, ASHO4U championship class $50 and Regional Championship class $100. Show management reserves the right to allocate TBA slots in a manner to facilitate the flow of the show. TBA classes will be announced prior to the beginning of the show and updated in the show office. No post entry fee to enter TBA classes but normal class fees do apply. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT

Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.

AHA MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT

Each competitor (this includes at least one recorded owner and all trainers, drivers, riders, halter han-dlers coaches and the person(s) signing the entry blank) in an Arabian Horse Association recognized Arabian Division, at the time of entry into a competi-tion must submit a copy of a valid AHA Membership/Competition Card, join AHA or pay an AHA Single Event Membership per competitor. When an agent signs for an owner at an AHA recognized competi-tion, both the owner and agent must be members of AHA or pay the Single Event Membership. Single event membership is not acceptable at AHA Re-gional or National competitions. Exhibitors in walk/trot classes are exempt from AHA member ship re-quirements at qualifying competitions but must have an AHA membership with Competition Card at AHA Regional and National competitions. Exhibitors in leadline classes or parent(s)/guardian(s) signing for minors are exempt from AHA membership require-ments. (BOD 5/12)
