Customising an AIMS 360° questionnaire for a client organisation Our substantial database of validated competences and behaviours also allows us to customise 360° questionnaires based around a client’s competency framework, or work with a client to create a competency framework.

Development charges for customising a questionnaire by mapping competences and behaviours onto a client’s own competency framework start at a one off charge of £4,200.

There are no additional administration costs or yearly licence charges to an organisation to use AIMS. All administration charges (sending out the email links to the individual, chasing returns, collating the data and preparing the final report) are included in the charge of £150 per individual.

If you would like to discuss customisation of an AIMS 360° for your organisation please contact Alex Davda. Tel: +44 1442 841099 or email: [email protected]

AIMS 360° is an online instrument used extensively on Ashridge’s open and tailored executive education programmes and with a wide range of clients and organisations through our Bureau Service. Each AIMS 360° questionnaire is customised to the specific subject areas covered during the programme or mapped onto an organisation’s existing competency framework. This enables participants to identify their perceived strengths and weaknesses and put together a personal development plan.

An AIMS 360° questionnaire gives the opportunity for an individual to gain feedback from two line managers and up to sixteen peers and direct reports. Respondents also have the opportunity to add free text comments regarding the individual’s demonstrated skills and suggest future development. The resulting report, together with a Self Managed Workbook, is then fed back to an individual by an Ashridge accredited feedback coach.

The 360° report, with quantitative and qualitative data, costs £150 per individual.

AIMS 360° Feedback At Ashridge we believe that everyone who completes a 360° questionnaire should be given the opportunity to receive feedback from a trained professional. Indeed, we would not supply 360° questionnaires or the resulting reports if feedback were not part of the process.

• Feedback provided by Ashridge• Or if preferred, Ashridge can train individuals

in your organisation to carry out the feedback sessions.

Ashridge accredited feedback givers can carry out group and/or one-to- one feedback sessions with your staff either at your organisation or at a venue organised by you. We recommend a format of a halfday group session (maximum 20 individuals) or five or six one-hour one-to-one sessions per day. During the feedback session individuals receive a copy of their completed report together with a Self Managed Workbook to enable them to set their own personal development plan and continue their development back in the organisation.

Group or one-to-one feedback is charged at

£2,800 per day or £350 per hour plus travel and

accommodation expenses.

Ashridge is also willing to run a half-day Train

the Trainer session to familiarise clients’ and

organisations’ talent/training teams to enable

them to feed back the reports themselves within

the organisation rather than using external

feedback givers. The session covers all aspects

of the report, provides learning feedback tips

for group or one-to-one sessions and works on

case studies to identify key areas for feedback.

Each attendee receives a training manual

containing sample PowerPoint presentations,

copies of questionnaires and reports, and

feedback tips to use for future feedback

sessions. It is recommended that the staff who

attend these sessions are BPS Level A and B

qualified, but this is not essential provided they

have experience in analysing and feeding back

data in a classroom and/or one-to-one basis.

The charge for a half day small group

familiarisation session is £1,400 plus expenses.

Ashridge has developed a number of instruments that have been researched and validated by its own faculty. These include:

Self and respondent feedback questionnaires

The Influencing Style Preferences Inventory*

The Influencing Style Preferences Inventory has been

designed to help individuals assess their approach to

influencing. It lists a number of different ways in which

an individual might act towards people when influencing,

and asks them to think about how often they act in each

of these ways. The questions are designed to assess the

styles an individual uses in their influencing relationships at

work and indicate their preferred approach when influencing

and their comfort levels with each of the four styles.

Available in a paper or online format.

The Interpersonal Awareness Questionnaire*

The Interpersonal Awareness Questionnaire identifies your

strengths and weaknesses in interpersonal skills across

all areas of your life – not just work. Completion of this

questionnaire will introduce you to the key interpersonal

skills, will help you develop learning objectives and begin

the process of self-awareness. Available in an online format.

The Consulting and Change Roles Inventory*

The Consulting and Change Roles Inventory measures

preferences of consultants and change agents and has

been designed to help an individual to assess their personal

role and contribution as a consultant.

The inventory distinguishes four different main consulting

roles (or contributions): The Expert, The Facilitator, The

Developer and The Coach. The feedback will show that

in each of these roles the contribution of the consultant is

different. Available in an online format.

The Ashridge Resilience Questionnaire

How we deal with pressure and stress relates to

how successful, effective and satisfied we are

in our working lives. Resilient people are more

able to not only manage the stress and pressure

they experience but also drive, support, guide

and influence others to get through stressful

situations. Resilience is the way you manage

your reactions and is often defined as “the ability

to bounce back from stress or adversity”. This

questionnaire will assess your resilience and your

perceived ability to cope when responding to a

stressful situation. Available in an online format.

The Learning Attitude and Context Scale

The Learning Attitude and Context Scale

assesses an individual’s attitudes towards

learning and their perception of how their work

environment helps and hinders this learning.

Available in an online format.

These instruments are available online and once

completed produce a narrative report which is

sent in a pdf format via email to the individual.

No formal feedback is necessary for any of

these self-explanatory reports but one-to-one

coaching sessions can be purchased if required.

Prices start at £10 per head for a self report, and

£25 for a respondent feedback report.

*These instruments are also available in a respondent feedback format.

Experiential exercises for TeamsCrime Scene Situation

A team experiential simulation exercise based

on a crime scene investigation; designed to

encourage influencing, decision making and the

use of relevant pieces of information, through a

priority setting challenge.
