Dear Colleagues and Postgraduate students,
The Association of Surgeons of India is taking earnest effort to bring the
advancing knowledge in the field of surgery to its members and
postgraduate students. The Zonal refresher courses are designed in a
fashion which will be most useful to all the people in surgery regardless of
their experience.
All the Postgraduates attending the meeting will have an exposure to
surgical teachers through clinical case discussions and the questions and
answers discussed during the presentation by the senior examiners will
certainly help them facing the examinations in a better way. A limited
number of postgraduates on a first come first served basis will get an
opportunity for hands on training on suturing techniques, endotrainers
and staplers.
There will be a simultaneous learning assessment programme before
the credentialing of the Fellowship of ASI for its qualified members.
This is mandatory for those who are desirous of being admitted to FAIS
and is also open for all who additionally will register for this.
The Organising Committee is extending a warm welcome
to all of you for this academic extravaganza.
