It targets and tones the entire body focusing on the common problem area - the legs, with moves that can be done anywhere, any time. So what are you waiting for? Change out of your work clothes and get the blood pumping – your summer
body will thank you for it.
Try this fast cardio routine, created for busy lifestylesWHY WAIT TIL SUMMER?
“Strengthening your legs with body weight exercises.
Stand with toes slightly turned out. Rise up onto your
toes. Keeping heels lifted and your back straight, bend your knees into a half
squat for two counts, then rise back up
for two counts. Use your abs to stabilise, and a bench or chair
for support if you need to. Repeat for 45 seconds, then
rest for 15 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
Lie on your back; knees bent, feet flat on the floor. Place a medium rubber ball,
Pilates ring or knotted towel between your
knees. Contract inner thighs to squeeze
the ball/towel as hard as you can for 30 seconds, then 20
seconds of fast small squeezes. Relax for 10 seconds. Repeat 3 times. To make it
harder, lift your feet off the floor a few inches.

“Strengthening your legs with body weight exercises will help to tone your muscles.” Repeat the three exercises below (with walk/jog in between) twice through, and feel free to add hand-weights for extra resistance.

LEG SCULPT
The standard lunge at a slower pace. Centre your balance, then lift
one leg to waist height. Hold. Step a metre or so forward. Bend the back knee and lower into a lunge, with both knees at a 90 degree angle. Hold. Shift your weight into your front foot, then bring the back foot forward to join it. Straighten up, and repeat on the
other side. Continue for 45 seconds.
Stand with feet together in a neutral
stance. Keeping your left leg straight, step out to the side with your right leg;
bending at the knee. Hold for 3 seconds, and then bring the
right leg back to join the left. Do 5 lunges
on one leg then switch sides.
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hands on your
hips. Bend your knees slowly for two counts, lowering into a squat. Pause, then straighten your legs and slowly lift your right leg up and to the side for
two counts - contract your abs to help
you balance. Lower your leg as you bend both legs back into a squat, then repeat on
the other side.

Keeping your skin clean is essential for a clear complexion, which is why having a good cleanser as part of your daily skincare regime is so important. Follow the tips below from beauty expert

P Cleanse skin twice a day; every morning and every evening before you go to sleep. Just because your skin looks clean doesn’t mean it is. Even though you can’t see them, there are likely many invisible impurities such as pollution that are lurking on the surface of your skin.
P Avoid generic bars of soap in favour of facial cleansers that are gentle and specifically designed for your skin type. Sensitive skin in particular may have a reaction if the product you are using is too strong.
P Rinse your face with warm water after washing. Using water that is too hot or too cold may irritate your skin.
P Exfoliate at least once a week. Gentle exfoliation removes dead cells, leaving you with a smoother, brighter complexion. As with a cleanser, make sure you use a suitable scrub for your skin type.
P Be gentle when cleansing around your eyes and applying eye cream. The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin on your body, so always handle with extra care.
P Treat yourself to a facial once in a while if you can. Just like you would go to a dentist for a teeth cleaning, your skin needs a deep cleansing too! The frequency and type of facial will depend on your skin type.
