We expect our Sixth Formers to work hard,contribute to academy life, and lead by example.Your next stop after completing your studies will be arespected university or a top employer. By electingto study in EA6, you will be ‘Aspiring, Excelling’.

All students are expected to arrive at the academypunctually each morning, dressed in smart businessattire. Each day will start with a Sixth Form Assembly,Year 12 tutor time or supporting tutor groups in themain school. Throughout the day, students will havea fairly full timetable, containing tutorials, lecturesand some independent study periods. During breakand lunchtime, students can relax in the EA6Common Room, or leave the site if they prefer.After school, students can participate in theenrichment programme, work in the EA6 Study orcontinue their studies at home.

The EA6BenefitsPackage

The EA6 curriculum comprises arange of A Levels, IB Certificates andcareer-related qualifications. Studentsstudy between three and five subjects,and combine different types ofqualification to suit their interests. Bystudying a minimum of two IBcertificates, a career-relatedqualification and the IB Core, studentscan gain the prestigious IBCPcertificate. However, students do notneed to follow this prescribed routeand can choose more flexibly toaccommodate their preferences.

The curriculum is well organised andenables pupils to succeed. Leadersensure that pupils are able to move onto employment or appropriate furthercourses. (Ofsted 2016)
