The SS Pantanal is a Friede & Goldman Millennium SA class semi-submersible drilling vessel, designed for 2000 meters water depth and 7500 meters drilling depth. It is a dynamically positioned (DPS-2) vessel equipped with eight thrusters of 2.5 MW each and 30.8 MW total installed power. SS Pantanal is owned by Schahin Oil & Gas from Brazil.
