Transport to ARCYou can come in your own transport/car.
We can provide ambulance transport (if you live in Sheffield).
ParkingFree parking is available on site with disabled spaces.
The department is at ground level.
Public transportThe nearest bus stop is on Union Road (0.3 miles away). It is a 10 - 20 minute walk up a gradual slope.
Number 56 bus to and from town.

What do I need to bring?• A list of your tablets• Any tablets that you take during
the day
• Personal things for example glasses, hearing aid, walking stick
• Anything else you need
Will I have to pay?The NHS services that you receive from us are free.
There are sometimes charges for other services. If this affects you we will make sure you know about it in advance.
How do I access the service?
Referral will be made by a health or social care professional. (Enquiries are welcome).
There may be a waiting list for this service.
What is ARC?
A day rehabilitation service for adults with any physical condition; for example stroke, Parkinson's disease, falls and other conditions that affect your daily functioning.

• Health Care Assistants

We can refer you to other services; for example Dentist (there may be a charge for this).
What will happen on my first day at ARC?
• You will come to ARC all day.
• On your first day you will meet the team who will assess your needs.
• At the end of the day, the team and you will know if you need to come again.
• You will be provided with drinks and a light lunch.
• Please let us know if you have any specific dietary needs.
