University sponsored activities and organizations introduce students to the campus environment and allow students to engage in dialogue and leadership development outside of course-specific discussions.

The AIU student center is an activity area for students. The center is open during regular operating hours of the University.

Student Clubs and Organizations

Student activities and organizations are provided to all enrolled students.

They are required to be structured as inclusive of all members of the AIU student community and may not restrict membership or establish membership criteria

that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or handicap.

No organizations with restrictive membership clauses will be recognized by the University.

The student activities program strengthens student and offers encouragement to those who are making

a transition to University life. AIU sponsored activities introduce students to many of the diverse

social and cultural events held in each city.

Student GovernmentPurpose Opportunities

All students enrolled at AIU are encouraged to become involved with SGA.

The SGA is an organized voice for all the students of the University representing the views and suggestions to administrators and organized governing bodies of the University;

The SGA shall also operate to disseminate information on behalf of the University to the student body.

The SGA officers are elected by and represent the leadership of the student body.
