Eero Saarinen (August 20, 1910 – September 1,

1961) was a Finnish

American architect and industrial designer of the

20th century famous for varying his style according

to the demands of the project: simple, sweeping,

arching structural curves or machine-like

rationalism

The TWA Flight Center or Trans World Flight Center, opened May 28, 1962 as a standalone terminal at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) forTrans World Airlines. It was designed by Eero Saarinen. The design of the TWA Terminal began in early 1956, construction work in June 1959.

Heinz Galinski (28 November 1912 - 19 July 1992) was president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany (Zentralratder Juden in Deutschland) from 1988 until his death in 1992.
