• Purpose: To enhance the ability of first responders to protect the health and safety of the public from fire and related hazards.

• Funding: Began in 2001 with $120 million, now $750 million/year from 2013-2017 as part of Congressional reauthorization.

• E-Grant: Information, application, award, reports, payments, closeout are all online.
