State & Territory Membership GroupsAnother way to engage with FPA Australia is via our State & Territory Membership Groups (STMGS). The STMGs are a contemporary and transparent way to participate with your Association via strong two-way communication in order to bring about positive change in the fire protection industry. The groups meet periodically in Australian states and territories and follow a uniform structure ensuring all relevant areas are covered.

The structure is made up of a number of portfolios each with a portfolio leader to be elected by the members. The portfolios cover areas such as regulation, accreditation, products and services, membership and bushfire. The STMGs are closely integrated with the technical work of the National Office, TACs, SIGs and NTAC.

FPA Australia LogbooksFPA Australia offers a complete range of maintenance recording and reporting logbooks and summary records in accordance with AS 1851-2005, AS 1851-2012 and AS 2293.2-1995. Meticulous planning and analysis was undertaken to ensure that these documents accurately reflect the specific requirements of the standards and strive for best practice in reporting results to end users.

FPA Australia’s logbooks and summary records are explicitly clear about exactly what data must be documented during routine service to satisfy the requirements of AS 1851 & AS 2293.2.

The professional design of the documents assists technicians to complete the service records accurately and will allow end users to fully understand the results, including any remedial actions required to ensure compliance.

FPA Australia has invested significantly into the creation of the logbooks to promote better fire protection and safety outcomes for the community. In addition, the logbooks provide peace of mind to technicians and building owners that appropriate inspection and testing is being undertaken in full and that the records of these activities are fully compliant with the relevant standards.

FPA Australia logbooks provide a ‘best practice’ level of confidence to service providers using them and end users such as building owners and occupiers.
